Take a lesson from Amazon. Customers love "free" shipping but don't know they pay for it in the actual item. If you order more than one item, Amazon packages them in the same box and pockets that extra shipping cost.
Don't make us deal with the annoying algorithms of ordering an item + another item. Or factoring in unhedged btc price to total cost. Make it easy on us customers, let us just be stupid - it's a win win. 8)

It could be argued either way but I'm too old to make my life anymore complicated than it is. Besides when Dementia sets in I will have one less thing to forget about.

What about international postage options or next day delivery? Vendors who send international could not just put the cost of shipping onto an item.

For sure. I list everything in $ so it's confusing when you throw in the BTC shipping.

Agreed. Calculating shipping price into how many bitcoins i need to acquire would be easier if the price of shipping was calculated with the price. However, i understand the necessity for vendors to have different options of shipping for those without qualifying stats, but it would be a great help if more vendors did what the OP suggests. Its just a small thing, but if i had to choose between a vendor with shipping calculated in the price, and one without, I would choose the vendor with.

It would make sense to have domestic incorporated into the price and all the shipping options be for international customers.

I like the idea! My hesitation comes for people who order multiple quantities of a single item. I don't want to end up charging more shipping than necessary. I will incorporate shipping into items that aren't typically ordered in multiples from now on though!

I wanted to do this but then the SR fee is charged on the shipping price no? But I may adjust my prices to include free domestic shipping....or actually "free" domestic shipping =D

This is true; if you factor the shipping cost into the item cost you would actually have to charge more to cover the extra commission as shipping costs are exempt from commission.
There have been cases of vendors attempting to exploit this in the past by listing their item for a couple of cents and then charging the actual price of the item, including shipping, in the shipping cost. Ingenious, but definitely not allowed!
