Title: Can´t upload any images to my listings
Post by: TripSitter on May 01, 2013, 09:02 pm
Hello,

I can´t upload any images to my new LSD-listings. It says "Sorry, an error was encountered. We could not process your request. (ext)".
what could that be?
has anyone else the same problem?

Thanks in advance  ;)

regards

Hi TripSitter,

This error has been occurring for many users, both vendors trying to edit listings and buyers attempting to update their carts.

A thread from another vendor that had an issue updating their account settings:

I'm sure it is being worked on; the issue does seem to intermittently resolve itself - the only advice I can offer currently is to re-attempt to upload the pictures as it seems it will work eventually. Your patience thus far is hugely appreciated, but the site just needs a little more time to get everything running smoothly again.

Hello

I'm currently having the same issue with uploading an image for a new listing. This problem has been ongoing for a few days now. I know that it's probably being worked on by SR staff, but in the meantime can anyone point me in the direction of a site where I can safely upload pictures to link from the listing descriptions themselves?

Thanks.

EDIT: Figured it out! You can upload images to SR if they're really small. I had to scale mine down from 2MB to less that 500KB.

Thank you for your input, Talk to Frank.

As far as I am aware, the error in the original post has now been fixed.

Locking as resolved.
