:)[EDIT: MY VENDOR ACCOUNT IS HERE http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad/user/853d62ae10] :)
Hi, Just trying to work out if this is viable first, If it is I will buy a vendor account. I am not taking orders yet, will not take any orders until I have a vendor account.
I'd like to start a service offering bitcoins for cash in the post, I am not really looking to make any profit on this. Just to offer a service to the UK members that doesn't seem to be readily available. Would many be interested in this service? It would be completely anonymous on your part with the coins being sent straight to your silk road acc or a wallet of your choice.
To start with I would obviously have to build the trust of forum members which I am happy to do by sending half the coins first, with the rest on receipt of the cash. and vice versa for btc to cash. Only small orders to begin with (£200 max) until I have built some trust then larger orders may be accepted. The coins will be sold at Mt.Gox's average rate at the time of the deal. Again, to begin with trusted forum members or those with good buying stats would be the only ones accepted until trust is built. I may be able to work out deals below mtgox's average with trusted forum members for good reviews here.
So, would this be worth doing? Are there enough UK members that would be interested? And what do you think of the idea? I'd really like to hear comments or suggestions below. If there is enough interest I will by a sellers account.
(EDIT: Just transferring funds to buy vendor account)
Thanks

Btc, transferred for vendors account. Now beginning to stock up on Bitcoins.
-
Maybe, someone could post a link to this in the product offers section for me until my post count is higher?
-
I would be very interested in this.....ONCE you have a vendors account.
As soon as you have I will use your service and leave a review here
Will post this in product offers for you.
-
Thank You.
And I will make no offers until my vendor account has been brought. I make that very clear

just brought £100 of coins after a few PM's. Can afford to lose it if this is a scam. Will update this thread.
-
£50 of btc received to my Silk Road account as promised, posting cash tomorrow will update again in a couple of days. All seems okay so far.
-
Thank you and please do update this post after your cash is received and remaining bitcoins are sent. As the agreement I came to (read as: was haggled by) with the buyer above. you can buy your coins at for £3 less than Mt.gox's average price. which means you get more bitcoin for your cash. Not much, but it all adds up.
-
I'm interested in this too. With Blockchain.info no longer accepting bank transfers I'm out of reliable, convenient ways of getting coins. I think the future of bitcoins in the UK is cash for coins, as from what I gather the banks are making it as difficult as possible to buy via bank transfers. I'll check out your listings.

Could not reply to your PM, kept getting error
That would be a little far to travel I'm afraid
Cash is safe through the post as long as you send registered and its insured up to £500.
Also, there is nothing illegal about buying bitcoin so you could technically report it as a crime if you didn't receive.
Anyway, thanks for the message. Hope you reconsider
:)

Brilliant, thank you. Banks are a nightmare because of their anti money-laundering rules and regs. There is certain amounts which must be reported and things they look for and legally have to report. Regular bank transfers (especially high value) can be looked at as suspicious especially where bitcoin or bitcoin exchanges are concerned. Also there seems to be some kind of crack down (as you mentioned) with exchanges UK bank accounts.
-
Not a problem at all. Again, if you use registered post the probability of it being stolen is very low (less than 1 percent) as recorded delivery's are tracked by royal mail. If it goes missing it will have to be explained and as you are insured for up to £500 while using recorded delivery you can put in a claim to royal mail to get your money back if it did manage to go missing.
Hope this helps.

I notice you mention sending 50% of the BTC before the cash arrives to those with good feedback. What sort of feedback are you looking for? The more I think about it, the more I like this idea. I've not been on the Silk Road for very long though but my buyer stats are as follows:
Total transactions: 10
Total spent: ฿13.54
Refund rate: 0%
Auto-finalize rate: 0%
Member for: 1 month
-
Damn. Came back to SR after a couple of weeks away and find I can no longer buy BTC from blockchain
It's now almost impossible for me to buy them and I will never fall for any scams. Not saying this is but I can't afford to send money in the post. I only want £20 worth for some hash. Check out my buyer stats they are excellent
Cheers
-
as you have only been a member one month and your stats although good, are not a good reflection of your character over a short amount of time. I would only send 25% of the coins upfront to you though to prove I mean business. I'm not saying you would .... But any non-payers will be reported to SR as a scammer, which could result in you getting your account frozen or banned
But I hope most buyers are honest anyway :)
Thanks
-
Hi there. I am trying to access your vendor page to PM you but it won't load.
Cheers

Opening fine for me, try again may be the site?

Any Luck?

Guess you got there ok ;)

2nd Happy customer today :)
Have asked him to post here as well
-
I would definitely be up for this method I am sick of all the fucking about and electronic paper trail, I know from having almost 100 purchases on silk road that the majority of the time the post is absolutely fine, recorded even more so. Only had two orders that didn't arrive, 1 through the vendor not putting the correct amount of postage stamps on (school boy error) and the other was from Spain for opium and simply didn't show up.
I'll wait until there is some good feedback before I take the plunge myself but if the feedback is good then I'll become a regular customer.
I am very cynical by nature and I do question the business model of this operation in that there appears to be a fairly limited number of coins at your disposal so it's probably not built to last, unless you're a UK vendor that is now operating this way to swap their coins for cash? Maybe you'd prefer not to say but the more honest you are with us the more comfortable I feel dealing with you and I buy a fairly reasonable amount of coins on a monthly basis!

Hi, thanks for the comment. I can understand your decision to wait on feedback. I'm not going to open it up on a public forum or elsewhere but I should have enough coins for the foreseeable future unless I get a sudden influx of very large orders all at once which is very unlikely. In the unlikely event I ran out of coins I would buy more from an exchange to cover orders & myself to continue trading. and will also be trading cash for bitcoins soon as well so will accumulate more through these transactions.
Hope to see you as a customer soon, a regular one would be even better.
Thanks for the interest
-
And here I am as well.
Honestly ladies and gents, I was very skeptical at first, wary that there had been a few SR BTC selling vendors that simply scammed people out of their money, but I'm extremely happy to report that this wasn't the case here. I left a review on the vendors page, as well as creating an entirely separate thread as I'd thought my experience warranted it.
A fantastic deal, this vendor gets my firm seal of approval. I'll be sending the cash via Special Delivery in the morning. Thanks again for providing to me what I hadn't thought was possible.
-
I'm going to message you directly on to your SR account but it makes more sense to discuss in the forum so I'm just going to do it here.
Lets say for arguments sake I have over 80+ purchases and only one refund, have spent a few thousand pounds and been a member almost a year, that you will forward me half the value of my BTC order of say £100 upfront on the basis of mutual trust that I send you the cash the next day via special/recorded delivery? I am happy to provide whatever evidence you need in terms of recorded delivery numbers or whatever, this is a good system for me I'm bored of having to change methods every so often and the fees were getting silly plus it's more anonymous this way.
I buy about £400/500 coins a month every month pretty much and I don't mind sending the cash or waiting a day or so to get the full balance it's just the stability I want, I just want someone reliable as it's getting frustrating not knowing if you'll be able to get an order on time or get the coins you need. It's taking the fun out of SR for me and it's certainly not going to stop me because nothing will when it comes to SR but it's getting kind of fiddly now!
-
as long as your buyer stats look good then yes 50% is given upfront with the rest on reciept of cash. As long as everyone stays honest and pays up then there is no reason why I will change this either. My aim is quality over quantity. I don't want to be a top 1% vendor I want to be known as someone who always delivers. Stability in transactions is definitely something I will strive to provide. I think it is a easy more anon way of trading coins.
-
Ordering here, £200 worth, going by what others have said this sounds fantastic. Will report back and edit this post Thursday once he's received payment.
-

Aang as long as your buyer stats are good, then we should be able to come up with a deal. Will look out for your order
-
Just put in an order myself. If all goes to plan I will be extremely happy. As I said earlier, I think this method of buying bitcoins is the future for the UK market.
-
Thanks everyone for your orders so far :)
-
So I have 6 orders waiting on payment to us before their balance is sent to them. I just hope that all the buyers are honest and send their payment through or I might have to consider putting a higher rate on buyer stats for the 50% upfront. I've only had to cancel one order so far which was for £200 from a member who had been here 3 days with 3 transactions. I have still said he can use the service but wouldn't recieve anything upfront.
The kind of stats I'm looking for is member for over a month, over 10 transactions with a decent amount spent. The reason is these kind of members are more likely to be honest and pay back because they do not want to have their funds frozen or account closed if I had to report them as a scammer and have to start all over again.
If anyone has any questions or comments please pm me or post here
Thanks

We could use your services in Australia. Your hair is a bit messy though :)

Not at the moment I'm afraid. Only dealing with UK and GBP at the moment. Check the forums, maybe someone is offering something similar in Aus?

7 happy customers so far, all with at least some of their btc in there account with the rest being sent as I receive the cash. All seems to be going well and nearly at my 50th post :) 2 People have sent cash out today
Have asked all to post here, hopefully some more will
as always pm me or comment here with any comments or questions.
-
Just to update everyone on my order - I placed an order last night/early this morning and the up-front amount was in my account within about 5 minutes (I agreed to take less than 50% up front, as although my stats are good, I've only been a member for just over a month, which I think is perfectly fair.) Just sent my money off now and should hopefully have the rest of the coins by tomorrow, so I'll update then. So far I'm very optimistic about this.
-
Looks interesting, are you buying too?
-
buying btc for cash? Yes will be eventually. Want to get a bit more established first :)
-

5 peoples cash were received today, all have now been paid in full. 3 outstanding. I have asked the ones that have now received all their coins to post in the forum to let everyone know.
Good Times =]
-
Yeah, got all my coins paid in full. Been a good service all the way through. Would recommend them highly! I got 50% upfront because of my stats cash was received by him this morning and my coins were waiting for me today when I logged on.
Definitely who I will be using for bitcoins from now on!
Nice one ;)
-
I'm one of the people who sent my money out yesterday after ordering £100+ of btc. The money was set to arrive today, and sure enough, when I checked, the tracking said my money had been delivered and Silk Road showed my coins in my account. No problems at all here. I'm very pleased with this service and will use it again.
-
My order was similar to Bill147 in this thread http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=142418.0
(not got enough posts to post in that thread)
Received the full amount upfront, cash sent and vendor received next day. I do have good stats and been on SR for well over a year. Great communication throughout.

My review for BTC4Cash UK...
As some of you may know, or may have read about, tormail has been up and down quite a lot recently. Due to this, I lost my normal BTC guy, some of you may know him as BTCxUK.
I'm not going to lie, nor am i going to 'slag' off BTCxUK. He was good and reliable, and cheap! But guess whats coming.. You've probably guessed it, BTC4Cash UK is better in every single way. Not only is he an active vendor on SR now, which means he replies pretty much instantaneously to every single message, he's honest, cheap and very very very quick, as in not even a minute wait.
For my first transaction, i needed £200 worth of BTC. My situation was dire, I couldn't get any BTC and I needed to place an order of around 1.7 BTC from a vendor on SR to receive for the weekend. I explained this to BTC4Cash UK and he was willing to transfer me the amount needed (so more than half of the BTC i ordered) which helped me out so much!! I, of course, after seeing how honest and reliable BTC4Cash was sent the money by recorded delivery the same day :) And guess what, the remaining 0.6BTC was in my account by 12 today. What more could you ask for!!
If you're looking for a cheap, quick and reliable way go to BTC4Cash UK.
Cheers again BTC4Cash UK!!!!!
-
Thanks Guys! All welcome back anytime :)
-
I was a little dubious about this but the initial feedback was very positive so after spending a few hours trying to fathom out transferring via many sites to get to mtgox to get to SR i though id give it a try,
GREAT VENDOR!!!!
coins instantly in SR after ordering, trusted based on buyer stats (a further positive of me taking many drugs haha) money now posted recorded delivery - hoping to land tomorrow.
Couldnt ask for a better and most definately needed service..
thanks BTC4CASH UK

-
No problem. you should get on the forum more?!? !st post?!
Anyway, thanks to everyone so far everything seems to be going just fine. Just so everyone knows I am building this round trust. Once you have paid for your order (or orders if your buyer stats are low) depending very much on your buyer stats you will be given a credit limit. This limit is the amount of coins you receive before you post out any cash from 25% to 100% and for now (unless you have brilliant stats I might reconsider) a limit of £250 per transaction. As I trust you more your limit will be raised. All non payers will be reported on SR and here on the forums. All coin prices are £3 below MtGox rates.
-

Your probably right :o

Excellent idea, do you accept Euros in the post? I can convert the amount and round it off higher for you :)

Only £'s I'm afraid

I have opened a forum account just to say that the service i recieved was 2nd to none, bc in my account within 5 minutes due to my perfect stats.
Top class long may it continue
Many thanks

Hello bud, speaking to you through PM, would it alright if I sent 4/500 through to you for exchanging? I'm new to the road but with the situation here in the UK I would rather keep it simple as possible and through your feedback I'm happy to trust you and wait on the cash being received before you release any coins.
-
Hi yes thats fine, as I said cash will need to be received first as you have no buyer stats yet. If your happy to go ahead then message me on the main site for payment details etc. We can both keep the thread updated with how the transaction goes.

I'll be looking for BTC in about two weeks. And this seems to be the best option available. Expect an order for £100 in bitcoins - my username is the same on SR.
I only have two successful purchases under my belt on SR currently - would this be a problem?
-
No it wouldn't I'd prob get you to send cash before sending coins as you don't really have any buyer stats to go on. Will look out for the order :)
-
Some good reviews, may have to send some business your way as the varying levels of complexity and/or premium for getting Bitcoins in the UK is a bit daft with the loss of Blockchain.
-
No problem at all. Drop me a pm on the main site if u decide too :)
-
I would definetley be interested in this and will PM you soon :)

15 outstanding orders so should have a lot more positive feedback hitting the forum next week. Thanks to everyone so far :)
To answer a few questions that I've had a few times by PM;
Its UK only,
(unless you are willing to send £ notes from whatever country you are in, and have 0 coins upfront until the cash is received. In all honesty there are easier ways than this. Search the main site for somone in your country, local bitcoins, etc.)
Its cash only, no bank transfers, ukash etc.
Thanks again everyone, PM me on here or the main site if you have any questions or comments :)
-
Just clocking in to say I got the coins yesterday, very fast. Highly recommended.
Made another, larger order now, great service.
-
New to this and the guy was very helpfull 10/10.True to his word and very quick transaction will use again soon.
-
You get to pop my forum cherry, congratulations! Seriously though, the vender was great; communication was fast and the bitcoins arrived as promised, even with a mistake on my end. Will definitely be back again and would recommend to anyone who wants to bypass the mess that is the UK bitcoin market.
-
:D couldnt be happier with the service this guy provides . has always been a nightmare to get in the uk . and blockchain going down made it alot more difficult. but im kind of glad , this guy does them cheaper . and faster straight into your account ! glad to be away from the banks , this seems alot safer . i will definitely be back for more soon ! Thanks man :D
-
I too am pretty new to this but as everyone is saying, Very helpful, great communication and i would recommend without a doubt! 8)
-
Thanks everyone. Had a few people (looking to invest in bitcoin) If I will do discounts on price per coin for larger orders. The answer is yes.. If your looking for amounts over £1000 then I will apply a much larger discount per coin.
-
So here's my review. Sent the money Yesterday and by the time I got home from work today the coins where in my account!
5/5/ - Communication was spot on. Always quick to respond, infact replying faster then I was sending them :)
5/5 -Price - As people have mentioned here I got more than what I paid for I paid for £50 worth - btc recieved are currently worth £54.61. Incredible what other vendors has this?
So yeah would highly recommend, especially if your UK like me and are struggling to get hold of bitcoins
Will be making more orders soon
-
buzzin with the service from this vendor, got confirmation today the cash was received so overall a very successful transaction and will no doubt be using this vendor many times again.
was worried at first about posting cash but the vendor was happy to put their trust in me and my stats and send the coins before i had even sent cash .... wasnt a massive amount of coins so wasnt a problem but this meant my only concern was that the cash was delivered but as instructed to use special or recorded delivery you cant fail ... and i could order my drug swiftly haha :o brucey bonus
top vendor ;D
-
Currently doing discount on bulk buys
Over £1000 - £15 per coin below MtGox Weighted avg
Over £2000 - £25 per coin below MtGox Weighted avg
Over £3000 - £32 per coin below MtGox Weighted avg
This is still cash in the post so please take that into consideration, Special delivery is insured for up to £500 per letter/package so it may be wise to send multiple letters.
I have someone talking to me at the moment who wants to do £10000 in 4 lots of £2500. If he decides to go through with it I will get him to post here to let everyone know that (1) large order was successful and (2) I sold at the discounted rate.
This may be re-evaluated if the price of coins continue to rise steadily or drop drastically.
Please PM me on the main site if you have any questions or comments.

Just wondering, is the rate of BTC measured from the moment I place the order on SR?

Wondering the same thing

It can be yes, or it can be exchanged at the time of receiving the cash whichever you like.

I have used BTC4CASH a few times. Most recently for £1.5k and everything went smoothly. Very fast response normally and will do his best to help you out.
Any questions, just message him.
It is nice having a reliable source of coins. This business is based on trust and I fully trust him and he fully trusts me (I hope :P)
-
so iv stumbled across this thread due to a fuck up in the market and a lot of btc sellers prices going up while the actual value going down (anyone else with me?)
unfortunately if something seems too good to be true it usually is..could someone/BTC4CASH help me think other wise? (not meaning to offend)
hows all this work?
cheers theman22
-
Whats to good to be true? I sell bitcoins for cash, I apply a discount for (a) supplying me with cash (b) the delay while you post for getting your bitcoins. Its as simple as that. No offense taken :)
-
does sound rather nice ill fire you a pm on the road
-
Wish you accepted UKBT :'( but anyway I have a question or two -
should I put the money inside a card?
At the moment there are 2 things I have my eye on, on SR, totalling 2.08BTC/$181.10
So to make sure I have enough BTC I need to send you ~$182 but I can't work this out, also do you use the MtGox rate at the time of recieving money or when I order?
Thanks.
-
It depends if you receive money upfront, if you do then both :) It can be either/or down to you . Obviously if you receive funds before cash is posted it is at the avg rate then with the rest being exchanged at the avg rate when cash is received. This way you get your moneys worth without worrying about the rate dropping while cash is on route.
If its 182 I would only ask for 180 for ease of posting, and yes you can put it in a card if you like.
:)
-
Well the $182 was in dollars, I have sent you a PM.
-
Note that the rate is on based on 24-hour average http://bitcoincharts.com/markets/currency/GBP.html
Superb customer service. Would have no qualms with using for all my BTC needs in the future.
-
Thanks :)
-
so i bit the bullet last night and gave this/these guys a try and i have to say so far so good, communication has been top notch and i got half of my purchase up front.now we're at the waiting stage so roll on tomorrow when we both get what we want :D
def think this may be my new go to guy (as long as people dont start fucking him over)
it also beats the hell out of unwanted bank transfers...

Third order and everything went smoothly yet again. Highly recommended vendor. Probably the best way to get coins for us in the UK, what with the next best alternative probably being bitstamp/transferwise, which takes like a week anyway.
-
Bought some BTC and received 50% upfront, very fast and easy transaction. Great communication from the vendor and I recommend him to everyone
-
Thanks :)
-
Another quick and easy transaction! Great communication, recommended
-
interested, is there no way of doing it electronically?
-
Cash only I'm afraid
-
As per everyone else using this great service, placed an order and got 50% straight into my SR wallet, have posted the cash and fully expect to receive the rest of my coin tomorrow morning.
Great, responsive communication from the vendor, I can't imagine I will use anywhere else for coin now. I just need to get used to planning my purchases the day ahead! ;D
-
Thanks everyone, had a couple of non-payers so far so I have left them a message below ;)
I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for drugs, I can tell you I don't have any.
But what I do have are a very particular set of skills; skills I have acquired over a very long career.
Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you give my money back now, that'll be the end of it.
I will not look for you, I will not pursue you.
But if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.

I just used BTC4Cash and the guy couldn't have been more helpful, I was apprehensive at first just because it's an odd system that I am not used to although I have purchased previously with cash in the post for goods.
I didn't get any coins up front at my own request because I wanted them all to come at once at the next days rate as the coins have fluctuated a bit as we all know, I was offered coins up front though.
Sent the envelope at 4.30pm and a gave the guy a tracking number, woke up next day with coins in my account by midday. Got a good rate and all done in about 16 hours without any trail back to me whatsoever.
I fully recommend the service it certainly worked well for me, I think it's the way forward in the UK now with the banks being pricks.
Please don't mess this guy around too much though because it spoils it for everyone, I'd like to build up a relationship and if a smallish number of genuine people buy enough coins regularly then it can work for us all....
Thanks again mate! ;)

I only seen this thread after i went through the hassle of using uKash to get coins. I'm very interested in this because after all the fees i had to pay i got about 20% less than what i would have got paying the mtgox high rate! Trying to find a way to get coins in the uk at a reasonable rate is near impossible.
i dont need any coins now but its good to know you exist and seem legit for the next time i need some.
just got a couple of questions:
1) do you still trade coins at the mtgox average?
2) whats your average time it takes to complete a transaction with yourself (i.e you have cash customer has coins)?
-
100% Recommend. Absolutely sterling service, amazing communication, and I just generally got the impression this is a straight up nice guy. Don't hesitate using the service it's GOLD

Its below MtGox rate (£3-7.50 below depending on how much you order) No other fees
Average time is less than a day, depending on when you post cash. If you post in the afternoon special delivery, coins will be credited when it arrives the next morning

Sounds great! If you didn't have all these reviews i would have said it sounds to good to be true lol
I will definitely be giving your service a go when my last order runs out and i require more. It will make my purchases a lot cheaper!
Sorry but i have one more question: Do i have to place an order on silk road or can it be arranged by using PM on here?
-
Just logged in and saw my coins had arrived yesterday after I had logged off. Very fast and friendly service. Bought the coins with none upfront due to my non-existent buying stats but I was treated very well.
I'd leave feedback on SR but since I had no BC to buy the listing there is no record on SR :p
Thoroughly recommended!

Right, someone has paid and not sent me the tracking number...... If you have paid and I haven't confirmed receiving it could you PLEASE get in touch.
I need either the tracking number or at the very least how it was sent and the amount.
I can then confirm it, and also pay you out any coins if there is any outstanding!
Thanks
Please update me with the tracking number once you've sent it guys, makes things so much easier!!

Done a couple of transactions with him so far seems like a friendly and honest guy obviously he could do a runner at any point or god forbid be involved in one of them infamous "car accidents" but im happy to continue with him as its a 50/50 split its a fair risk for buyer and seller. Hope hes got loads of coins and sticks around as its nice to find some honest and friendly vendors, and localbitcoins etc is becoming an obscene rip off now.

Thanks, and I am here to stay. Just to clarify 50% upfront is dependent on your buyer stats, it is not available for everyone.
-
I used this service recently, sent cash on Tuesday and got the coins on Wed so very fast, and the coins are at a very good rate, for people in the UK it has become very difficult getting coins recently so this vendor is perfect. I chose not to have any coins upfront and have them all on receipt of cash. I would definitely use again and recommend to everyone.

UPDATE - 20/04 - Offline for 24 hours, IRL stuff to sort out will answer PM's, Orders etc tomorrow morning
-
when SR is functioning correctly i will be purchasing from you my friend
-
Back online now, will work through all the orders and messages. If I don't get back to you PM me again I will reply I may of just missed your message had a lot to work through!
-
Hi BTC4CASH,
I'm gonna be placing an order with you soon.
you seem to have a good reputation and every other method of getting coins seems either expensive regarding fees or a big risk of getting robbed.
It seems the harder part of all of this is just getting hold of the coins ;D
as im brand new to this i dont have "good buyer stats" though.... can something be worked out?
I see on your vendor page you're not taking new orders while you catch up with a backlog, as soon as your taking new orders id like to place one. how do i actually place an order with you though? should i PM you or contact you using the address box in your vendor page?
thanks
-
**Update 21/04 - NO NEW ORDERS - NEED TO CLEAR OLD ORDERS FIRST. MAY BE ABLE TO TAKE MORE TOMORROW WILL UPDATE**
-
not sure if you'll have seen this as you posted while i was editing mine so reposting:

why haven't SR given you a rating?

Everything should be back to normal today

Second order with BTC4.
Bought from a few other bitcoin providers in the UK and this guy just blows them out the water.
Simply a brilliant service, and a godsend for UK punters.
-
The site is so slow its too hard taking orders at the moment!!!! >:(
So for now I'm afraid taking no new orders again. Just dealing with the ones I already have.
-
Second time I have used BTC4CASH UK also.
Excellent efficient service and comms throughout.
-
Are you taking new orders yet?
-
Yes as and when I can, trying to process as the site loads !!
-
Can't even get on Sr at the mo :-\
Just had my third transaction and again great service/comms. recommended!
-
SR is down for maintenance will deal with pm's/orders when I can
-
Due to the sites instability I am no longer taking orders its too frustrating, will still process current orders as and when I can.
-
So you're going to stop taking orders for good? You are offering a proper Bitcoin service to the UK which it desperately needs. Hopefully you'll give the site another chance, I swear, it works really well most of the time.
-
I'm looking for an alternative means, maybe a hidden service website or email. Buy yes, for now at least I am taking no new orders, just fulfilling current ones.
-
Really dissapointed youve decided that a temporary lapse in the sites availablity means that you can take no new orders. Set up a tormail address so at least customers that have used you before can still take advantage of your services when things like this happen.
As i type this the site seems to be working fine. Well fine enough to see that you've canceled my order :(
-
Its not only the sites availability but other factors as well. Its a choice I have made I'm afraid. I will fulfill all current orders, I will also update this thread when I decide how I am going to trade.
-
Hope it works out for you whatever you decide. You were an absolute lifesaver last week and I can't thank you enough.
-
It's a shame to see you've stopped trading - especially as I wanted to buy some coins today :P Hopefully you can get things sorted :)
-
1st time on since last week and was hoping to get some btc sorted then seen the site was down and now you BTC4CASH leaving the road how much i would be lying if i said i wasnt disappointed :( lets hope you can get an alternative sorted and keep up the solid work you were doing before mate..
if not keep the faith in the system...long live the road
-
A darn shame. Was going to be my first purchase.
-
Sorry to hear this BTC4Cash! If and when you decide how you're going to proceed please let me know as you were the prefect solution for coins in the UK.
:)
-
i have just inboxed you about makeing a purchase b4 seeing this thread absolutely gutted!! had a few issues getting on the site last couple of days but now all seems well and loading up alot better if not quicker than usual, hopefully you can re-consider BTC4CASH and start your amazeing service again!
-
I sent you a PM before reading that you have stopped your service. sorry to hear it as i never got to try your service out and will have to go back to the long and expensive way! Please let me know if anything changes
-
I have over a year of perfect stats at SR and was looking forward to using you , It's really become difficult to get coins now in the UK.. I really hope you come back when SR stabilizes , maybe you just need a break . Looking forward to using you in the future please keep us updated..........
-
In the meantime if anyone knows of where i can get hold of some BTC;s here in the UK it would be much appreciated as i would like to place more orders on SR but have no coinage :(
Any help appreciated!

Local bitcoins will be the fastest but is most expensive right now until they update.
Otherwise it's bitstamp with an international wire

Did some perfect transactions, missing you ! Hope you return :)

Hi Sc0t1and_Y4rdi3,
Can you post links to any evidence that users have been scammed by the vendor in question?

Do you have any proof? He only deals in GBP as far as I know, so I don't believe that anyone lost $5000.
-
This is my first post and a couple of weeks ago BTC4Cash UK was my first transaction.
Just want to say he was a great ambassador for the site, very friendly and helpful (all the best UK traders are!).
This guy was an entry point to the Road for me and I'm sure many other people.
It's a vital role and I hope to see BTC4Cash return soon.

subbing because I'd wondered why he'd gone quiet..

Who the F... was that Scotland yard guy talking about was it the vendor in question or was he on the wrong page I'd like to hear more if it was the vendor in question as I even used him and he performed with lightening efficiency and 110% trust so please let me know more anyone that knows ie police officer Scotland yard guy ok oh by the way my name ain't really phoboss I've nothing to do with mars bars what so ever ok peace out...
-
subbing because I'd wondered why he'd gone quiet..
because he scammed one guy for 5k
-
Tell the guy who got scammed for 5k to come to me in future if he wants coins and I'll help him out ok if this guy did this boy flip knows but anyway if anyone needs pointing in the rite direction for coins just text me ok but you will not be able to do a deal for 5k straight away you'll have to start off with say £500 instalments first then once trust is ok you can order what you like ok or if you want to make things easier you can send me your money and I'll get you the coins then pass them to you through SR to SR done cheers all
-
You don't actually believe he scammed anyone, do you?
At least 50% of the cash is sent up front first. Anyone that's willing to do that shouldn't be a scammer. £5,000 worth - I doubt that. There were many, many successful buyers ordering from BTC4Cash UK, and there is absolutely no evidence whatsoever about the £5,000 scam.
If there was any light to that accusation, surely, surely there'd be a forum thread about it somewhere... Either it doesn't exist, or my search skills have completely diminished.
-
He processed ~£10k for me with no issues. (this was multiple times, not in one go)

If you wish to do this, phoboss, you will have to set up a Silk Road vendor account.

Absolute bullshit from a known troll, before believing this known troll check his posts, he gives nothing productive to the community. Not one person I dealt with was unhappy with my service. The guy is clearly a very disturbed individual who likes to stir up shit on internet forums as he has no life of his own.
Always back up accusations with proof, there will be none in this case.
Idiot.
To all my happy customers, I may be back in a few weeks offering the same service plus option for bank transfer.

Seconded. I can still get coins but it's a far higher rate than I'd like :/

If you would care to look down at your keyboard for a moment, to the right of the M key, you will see two other keys. These are the comma key, and the full stop key. Enjoy.

great news, actually haven't bought a bitcoin since you left ;D

I'm way to paranoid to send actual cash in the mail for 1)package getting lost 2)getting ripped off

Yes there is always this danger.
My 1st transaction on SR was cash through the post with that scumbag Vlad and he ripped me for £200.
This guy is totally legit though, used him several times and he was great.
Good news you coming back :)
-
I would like that to if the exchange rate isn't too high.
Would it also be available for other European countries?
A bit of critique:
How can we do this safely?
When you get your bond back from SR what stops you from just keeping the money?
Is knowing the receiving address enough leverage to stop you from doing that?
I'm not saying you're going to do that, most poeple in the community seem awesome but anyone can join SR and its forum.

Shit, was just about 2 use that vlad guy...he always seems 2 have good FB!? Have decided 2 go with BTC4cash now anyway, based on numerous positive reviews, just gonna stick 2 a relatively low amount, as 1st purchase.
Cheers

-

would you prefer a 10% fee?
10% per money?or per coin? I liked it the way it used to be :D
-
I don't have the amount of coins I did I'm afraid so that wont happen.
10% on the cash sent.
eg. for £40 you would have to send £44.

Hi BTC4CASHUK
Hope you can help me out here.
Have today signed up at SR and keen to go Xmas shopping... However I've encountered the same nightmare I'd imagine a lot of UK users have... getting hold of bit coins (anonymously.)
I haven't made any transactions yet, I'd like to buy 0.5 BTC to start me off, what would you charge for this, and what would you require up front.
I'm happy to discuss on the forum or PM/email me if you'd like,
Cheers

Probably be easier to chat about this on the main site, pm me there.

used again today perfect as always
