Whilst we certainly wouldn't condone it, that is his personal choice and he is more than entitled to his freedom, wouldn't you agree? If he were to do that now, yes, I imagine I would still be quoting Alexander Pope but the sentiment conveyed by the quote I use would certainly be very different. As far as I can tell he has not done that since arriving here which makes your "what if" question rather pointless. As I said, I will be judging him on his future conduct. You are, of course, free to judge anybody by whichever criteria you wish.
