Customer support / Re: BTC stolen part two
« on: May 07, 2013, 07:13 pm »
Ty for locking, but still not understand the process!!!
SR tumbler is when you send BTC from buyer to seller inside SR.
In my case, I send BTC from my wallet to my SR account.
When I check the block chain with my SR btc-adress, I see that it has been used to to send to another adress.
I did not make any purchase.
So I am a little confused!  :(

Hi FireDog1974,

The tumbler tumbles all payments and transfers. As stated in my response to your previous thread, you can read more about it here:

http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/wiki/index.php?title=Buyer%27s_Guide#Tumbler

Regarding the deposit delay, please see DPR's thread on the issue here:

In order to fight off the recent DoS attack we had to do substantial reconfiguration to the entire Silk Road system.  We are still working out the kinks, and there are a couple of isses that have to be addressed.  One is deposits and withdrawals not showing up in a timely manner.  We found one problem the new config was causing to this system and fixed it today, so deposits/withdrawals should be flowing now.  If you still don't have yours, please message support on the main site.

The other issue is being logged out seemingly at random.  We are still looking for the cause of this problem, but I assure you it is a top priority and we will get it fixed soon.

Thank you for your patience as we recover from the recent attack.

Moving this to the Shipping forum as it is not really a Customer Support issue and you will most likely receive better answers there. Please note that members with less than 50 posts will not be able to post in this thread once it is no longer in the Newbie or Support forums.

spiriticon, please PM me if you would like me to move this back to the Newbie section so as you can post in it.

Customer support / Re: Missing deposit
« on: May 07, 2013, 07:03 pm »
I deposited some btc into my account last week and the funds still have not shown up in my account. I tried to contact customer support but have not even had my message read after a day and a half.  I have never had an issue with the Road, so I have not had to contact customer support before now. I am a bit concerned about how these issues are resolved.  From what I have read on other posts, I gather that customer support is good about resolving funding issues.  I have the blockchain info showing the deposit was made.  I appreciate the forum and the road, so I really hope this can be resolved.

Thanks for reading and any information you can provide.

Hi discoveringdaily,

All you can do in this instance is contact SR Support as you have done and they will get the issue sorted for you. Please note that it can take up to 48 hours to receive a response from them as they are incredibly busy, but that time period may be a little longer due to the volume of messages they have gotten about the recent deposit issue.

For those of you that experienced the delays, please see DPR's thread on the issue here:

Hello Support

I have searched for a similar problem and although some are similar I have found nothing identical.

I am aware that deposits to SR are currently delayed, so I am not concerned about my deposit not having shown after four hours.

The issue:

1. I copied my Silkroad account receiving address  to send coins from my blockchain wallet.

2. In doing so I accidentally clicked 'get a new address' (this got me a new receiving address on SR)

3. I have sent the coins to my old address on SR

4. the old btc address is no longer displayed on my account page

Have I lost my BTC? (It was only 1.03 or thereabouts, but still important to me).

Thanks for your help in advance
 :-[

Hi AgentLee,

Your Bitcoin should arrive just fine but if they don't arrive after 24 hours send SR Support a message on the main site (http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/help) and they'll get it sorted for you. :)

Hi folks,

When seeing your Bitcoin being transferred to new addresses what you are seeing is the Silk Road tumbler in action, it's nothing to worry about at all. You can read more about that here:

I've upgraded to seller account 2 days ago since then I've been trying to add listing about 50-60 times and every time I get

Sorry, an error was encountered.
We could not process your request. (ext)

Is this bug or I'm doing something wrong? I can't see what I might be doing wrong. I select category, fill all fields (don't upload image) and click go.

Managed to add listings, yet 95% off the time the error still occurs.

Hi swisshound78,

Glad to hear you got your listings posted. The problem you experienced is indeed a minor bug, and I'll make sure the administrators are aware of it.
