I need some advice as I am a newbie here. History:
1) I placed my first order for Adderall XR 20mg x 7pc from frogwithADD (Positive feedback: 95.1%) on April 26
2) On the same date seller changed status to "in transit"
3) I message seller on 5/5/2013 about status- no response
4) Today, suddenly I get a proposed resolution from frogwithADD for 50% refund
This is what I have now in Resolution Center:
Transaction details

    item: Adderall XR 20mg x 7pc [new seller, detail inside]
    quantity: 1
    buyer: Mikepa81
    seller: frogwithADD
    date shipped: April 26, 2013, 6:21 pm UTC
    due in: 3 days May 12, 2013, 3:09 am UT

Honestly I don't believe seller shipped anything and trying to scam a newbie. My question to fellow members is what can I do here? If I wait another 3 days, what happens?

Hi Mikepa81,

If you believe the seller has not sent anything then let the Administrator know that in resolution and request a 100% refund. The Admin will check the histories of both buyer and vendor and make a decision based on the evidence available to them.

It's interesting how much that culture has changed. At the bottom of every subforum, you'll find a list of all the pages. Click on the last ones and read through the threads that were posted in summer of 2011. It's quite enlightening. The forum was a much different, friendlier place.

The scammer/spammer(s) that came on the forum last year were just the beginning. It's starting to be overrun with trolls and assholes now.

Maybe they'll take that back with them into the offline world and it will encourage them to call others to arms in the fight against government tyranny. sorry  i didn't realize i had to have a vender account here to make these offers or be taken seriously. i haven't checked my account here for a while because i took as many requests as i could handle without any payment. i will make more offers here after i can afford the 500 dollars to buy a vendor account here.

That's fine as is - it'll help others to decide whether to use that vendor themselves, and you don't reveal anything that might reveal the vendor's security practices etc. All good!

Less than a month on SR and have made 4 purchases, all successful. On the last the product was sub par. I didnt ask for a refund as I received the product, it was just shite. I left feedback about how the order was fine but the item received was sub par. When I looked at the feedback on the items page it was taking up the space of 5 feedback, therefore 4 other peoples feedback was pushed over to the 2nd page of feedback. Should I edit it down to 2-3 lines.

There is no set amount for how long feedback should be - go with what you think is best.

I locked the thread because it was going nowhere, and you had said in all the previous posts everything that needed to be said on the matter. I also told you what to do if you felt the vendor had scammed you.

As for implying that I am somehow in league with this person (who you claim scammed you), I take great offense that you would suggest I would contribute to such an act.

Locking the thread on an ALLEGEDLY scamming seller was not SR policy, it was a decision I took with the autonomy given to me as a moderator as I was of the opinion that the thread had run its course. There was no discussion taking place, it simply consisted of you repeating what you had already said many times previously.

If you Finalise Early and willfully remove yourself from the protection of the escrow center you leave yourself open to the possibility of getting scammed. You seem to be somewhat offended because you did not receive a 'thank you' or a 'sorry' from the vendor in question - packages do occasionally fail to arrive due to reasons outside of a vendor's control. The vendor offered to make up for this by including a free extra with your next order but you stated that you did not want to. That, it would seem, should be the end of it.

If you believe a vendor has scammed you you are free to use the 'report this vendor' link on their profile and include as much detail as possible.

Locking this thread as it isn't really going anywhere.
