Is there any rules on this forum regarding the subject of firearms!

Discussion of ANY nature is allowed on the Silk Road forum; attempting to sell any items, however, without a vendor account is not permitted, and selling firearms is no longer allowed on Silk Road.

However, everyone is free to discuss any topic that might interest them one way or another.

Did you contact SR Support by using the link at the bottom of this page:  http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/help   ???

^This. I would also like to add the possibility of you having entered your details into a phishing site as you can see the deposit in your account history but it is not there. I'm not saying that this is the case, just that it is a possibility. ALWAYS make sure you're visiting the correct URL:

As of now its been over 24 hours and my account has not been funded from my initial deposit. I have a message into SR support but have not received a reply from them either.

Hi MrB08,

All you can do in this instance is wait for SR Support to get back to you; it can take up to 48 hours to receive a reply from them as they have to process everything that's in the queue before your issue.

Support,
I just transfered two BTC (1.0095 to be exact) to my new address on SR.

Prior to this delivery, my balance was about $143. After delivery, my balance shows $257.

Is it possible that my coin was not deposited in one transaction (something I had not seen before)?

I will defer any further transactions this issue can be resolved.

Thanks,
smitty

Hi Slacka,

Are you saying that you transferred 1.0095 BTC in total to your SR address? If so then that is one Bitcoin, plus .0095 of another Bitcoin, not two. Your balance of $257 would be correct in that instance. All Bitcoin is deposited in a single transaction.

Technical support / Re: change username for sr account
« on: May 09, 2013, 05:34 pm »
Hi guys,

It is not possible to change your Silk Road username; this is likely to deter vendors who wish to start scamming from being able to do so under a brand new name with excellent stats.

Please see the SR Wiki here:
http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/wiki/index.php?title=Frequently_Asked_Questions#Can_I_change_my_username.3F

Locking as resolved.

Technical support / Re: lost withdraw pin what to do?
« on: May 09, 2013, 05:33 pm »
all in the title
please

Hi slash,

Please follow the PIN instructions on the SR Wiki page here:
http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/wiki/index.php?title=PIN

Quote
When you register an account on Silk Road, you must create a PIN. Your PIN is in addition to your login passphrase and is required when making a purchase, transferring funds, withdrawing funds, and when making important updates.

If you forget your PIN, you will have 5 chances to enter it correctly before it is locked. After your 5th unsuccessful try, you will be redirected to the homepage where you will be shown a message with the time remaining before you can unlock your PIN. After waiting for the allotted time, that message will turn into a link to a page where you can create a new PIN.

If you see this message, but you have not used your 5 PIN entry attempts, it could mean that someone else has gained access to your account and is trying to reset your PIN. If this is the case, you should change your password asap and change your PIN once the wait time is over.

Hi,

to open a vendor account one has to fund some BTC, currently worth around 500$.
what happens if BTC drop to 10$ next month? Then the fund is really worth just 50$ - do you compensate or is that just an ugly situation for a vendor with a high risk to loose (or gain) money?

Hi Mithril9000,

Please read the following on the SR Wiki:

http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/wiki/index.php?title=Seller%27s_Guide#Bond

http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/wiki/index.php?title=Frequently_Asked_Questions#How_do_I_become_a_vendor.3F

The $500 is paid in as a bond, and it is not hedged to a USD amount. It is paid in in Bitcoin, held in Bitcoin and paid out in Bitcoin. You will get the exact same amount of Bitcoin back as you paid in, regardless of which way Bitcoin's value goes - whether that is to $10 or $1000.
