Fully agreed. Such behaviour will NOT be tolerated on Silk Road.

It should at least require the security pin to access this feedback. I just don't want to get 3 months of activity on my ass in case something goes wrong...
Cool. I'm good to go. I went ahead and did the 'round robin' with my new account. Made a small deposit then withdrew it back to myself. Worked without a hitch. I went ahead and generated a new address and I'm currently waiting for my actual fun money to hit my account. I'm sure it will be fine this time around because I
A: memorized the Silk Road Address and typed it in manually
B: made a new account
C: tested the account with a deposit and a withdrawal, thus insuring that my info, PIN, PW and all that are correct.
D: did not log in to the new account on my Windows machine to even look...and I WON'T do it again. Just the Tails USB thumb drive for me on SR from here on out! It's kind of a pain in the ass, but it beats doing something stupid and throwing $50 down the toilet. I'm not sure when it happened, or how it happened but I'm sure it happened. I made a mistake somewhere on that first go around. No doubt about it.
Thanks for the patience and help. I haven't forgotten about the old account. I'll check back on it in a day or two and see what support has to say.
It disappears after 3 months. Presumably, it's actually deleted from the server at that point.
It would be nice if you could delete it yourself, but I suspect there are two reasons that you can't.
1. Each of those items is associated with another account, the vendor that you purchased from. It would be unfair if they wanted that info and you could delete it from their account. And it would be shady on DPR's part if he allowed you to "delete" it from your account while keeping it on the server and making available to the other party. So I think it's best that neither party can delete it until some standard amount of time (currently 3 months), and you are both made aware that the info exists, because you can see it in your account history.
Of course, the act of deleting it could simply anonymize the data, unlinking it from your account while keeping it in the other account, which leads me to:
2. It protects against scammers. Otherwise, a vendor (or buyer) could scam a bunch of people and erase the evidence with the click of a button. They need to keep the info for some amount of time to identify patterns associated with scammers.
umm, yeah... no.... you weren't hacked. imagine the time it would take to brute force over such a slow network. didn't happen. maybe you used the wrong URL and didn't realize it. seen it time and time again.
take responsibility for your actions and quit blaming others.
How bout you go back to smoking your crack there chief, cause you don't have a clue what your talking about.
Ive stated it many times, but I guess we got have a lot of lazy readers here IVE ONLY EVER USED 1 URL to log in. The correct URL since Ive been on SR. Ive never logged into a phishing site, or provided my pin anywhere. Its NOT even possible since its always the SAME URL that i use. I'm very careful.
Now unless SR has taken control of my account there is NO other explanation as to why I cannot access my own account. So it was either broken into (which is very possible) or SR removed me? (less possible I guess?). In either event It can happen and sucks that none can help. This is a warning to all of you to make damn sure you have VERY strong passwords!
Awesome, thanks so much . I understand they probably won't need it but just in case I'll provide it when I think they may.
You're super helpful!
Oh I can see there is definite incentive as it stands, not to mention the fact that giving people decent product would be a good thing.
Maybe FE could be disabled for a negative balance starters account?
Meh, I'm just thinking out loud really.
I've got a couple of ideas for some products to sell, some gaps in the UK domestic market. I'm not a wealthy man,and I wouldn't plan on shifting massive amounts. But it would take me ages to save up the bond. lol
Oh well. Better start saving those pennies. lol
I do have a quick question though. Is it mandatory that you generate a new funding address with every deposit, or can you send to the same address more than once to fund your account?
