"Sayword" vendor promised a refund over a month ago.  My order auto finalized because I was unable to access SR on the 16th day.  I emailed vendor on day 14 to ask why order was taking so long (seeds in USA to USA).  On day 20 got an email from "Sayword" saying they just "were neglecting their account""don't have any excuse""will refund or send order tomorrow".  As of day 50 or so I cannot get any reply or action from "sayword".  PLEASE HELP - get my money back and this irresponsible vendor off SR!

Unfortunately once you finalise an order, either by clicking the 'finalise' button or allowing an order to auto-finalise, there is no way of getting your Bitcoin back. It's important to send an issue to resolution if it has not arrived by day 10 - that automatically adds 5 days to the due date (for 22 days in total from the date the order was marked in transit) and once it is in the resolution center an order will not auto-finalise.

It is highly advisable, due to the possibility of login issues, NOT to leave finalising or entering resolution to the last minute.

As stated above just keep refreshing until you get a full length captcha. Can you please let me know here though if any of you are still experiencing problems logging in even with a full length captcha?

As far as I'm aware it's not possible to fix that for the very reason that you mentioned - I'm not sure if it's solely a Tor issue or also a shortcoming in the SMF forum software but to the best of my knowledge it cannot currently be done.

Please try refreshing the page until you get a full length captcha, or try the process from one of the posts above:

"I went to Preferences>Content>uncheck Enable Javascript."

Hi again!

Sorry for asking again but i+m just trying to learn.

The order has actually been reviewed for more than week today. It was due to be resolved by 6th of may. My question today is wether this is something i should bring up with staff? If only to ask for an estimated time until itś resolved.

Im sure that it will be handled eventually but since itś quite an amount involved my btc-ordering is dependent on if this is resolved or not. You probably know what i mean.

Any reply would be appreciated.

I'm afraid the only information I can provide is that Support is currently backlogged and will get to your issue when they reach it in the queue. They won't be able to give you a better estimate than that I'm afraid. Very sorry it's taking so long but please do try hang in there. Hopefully they'll get to it very soon. :(

yea i am able to log in and out of a test account.

I was able to log in and out of my previous account last night then I tried to log in again this morning and it wouldn't give me access.

Its working fine at the moment with a test account I've logged in and out multiple times.

anything else i can do?

If it's all working with a test account then it seems like you'll have to get on to SR Support and get them to reset your passphrase. It is possible that your account has been compromised due to entering your details into a phishing site or else by having a keylogger / datalogger on your system.

Hi, thanks for your help. I have tried all the steps you have suggested but still cant access my account.

I removed tor browsers completely then downloaded the latest package.

I ran a complete anti virus scan as well as a full malware scan but only came up with a some adware. (i'm abit of a noob so not sure the scan i ran was completely sound but it the best i could do and it seemed to scan extensively)

Yea i am 99% sure im typing the same password in. After it happened first time i was sure i wouldn't forget it and i accessed it multiple times yesterday, im sure its right but still won't let me get in!

What do you suggest? I sent an order through last night so I just needs finalizing then I don't really care about the account.

I just registered a test account and am having no problems logging in to it, nor staying logged in which suggests that the problem is not a Silk Road issue; however, please try the following:

Ensure you're visiting silkroadvb5piz3r.onion
Enter a simple username
Enter a simple password (such as 12345 - note: this is ONLY for testing purposes)
Enter the captcha

Are you able to register a new account and stay logged in using those details?

Okay, can you try the following:

Please ensure that you have installed the latest update for the Tor Browser Bundle.
If that does not work, uninstall Tor completely, then reinstall. Ensure you backup any bookmarks beforehand.

If that still doesn't work, cold boot your computer - shut it down fully, unplug everything, remove the battery (if a laptop) and leave it for 10 - 20 seconds. Plug everything back in, reboot, and try again.

A cold boot (more than just a reboot) can solve a whole host of problems with your computer! I just registered a test account so it is definitely something on your end, most likely an issue with Tor. Follow the steps above and let me know if any of them resolve the issue.

after i register, i am taken back to the log-in with no error message. logging in with the registered info does nothing. log-in page pops up again. with my old info the log-in page pops up again as well.

i have attempted to register for over a week now with no success. i go to silkroadvb5piz3r.onion between *-*am and try many times but nothing ever happens. is there a freeze on new members? my old username password does not work either but i have never made a purchase under it either. what is going on?

If that does not solve the problem, run an antivirus / antimalware scan, specifically looking for any keylogger or rootkit that might have infiltrated your system.

One other thing to make sure of is that you are using CAPS in the correct places, if necessary, or ensure that your CAPS lock is not turned on etc.

Please let me know if any of the above solve the problem, or if it still occurs after trying all of the steps.

I won't name any names here but just recently a package didn't arrive and I was basically bribed into giving them a 5/5 making out it did arrive and was excellent quality on the conditions they fully refunded me. Of course I wanted the full refund so I accepted the bribe - but in hindsight it fucking sucks.

If this ever occurs you should state it to the administrator dealing with the resolution, along with any evidence you may have to support your claim. As it is, buyers and vendors should not be resolving things outside the resolution center - they are free to, of course, but when that happens issues like the one above can arise. During a resolution, keep EVERYTHING inside the resolution center.

If the administrator had seen what was occurring I have no doubt that you would have received your full refund, and the vendor would have been chided for attempting to coerce you into leaving 5/5.

You can return and edit your feedback at any time (within 3 months from the date of finalisation) by clicking:

Account -> view feedback -> edit

None of you should be feeling pressured into giving a vendor 5/5 on a transaction that is not satisfactory. Don't let vendors intimidate you - they should be treating you with respect at all times, and they are actually obliged to do so by the terms of the Seller contract that they agreed to abide by upon purchasing vending privileges.
