One thing that needs to be changed about the Resoloution system is when you buy a few products off one vendor it its counted as different orders so if you order 3 products off one vendor and it falls thru no fault of your own, you now get 3 refunds counted against you!! which is not fair Its really only 1 complete order that got refunded. This should be changed

Come to think of it Im going to post this in the customer support forum!

I have moved your thread to the Feature request forum as it is not a customer support issue.

Canna, so I click account on top of screen it takes me to the account page but I don't have any numbers here, I have never used a bitcoin wallet on SR, the vendor deposited my btc directly into my SR account

If you've never deposited Bitcoin to your Silk Road account:

Quote
For user's making their first deposit and for users that haven't made a deposit in a while, your account page will have a link that says "Click here to make a deposit". The page that link leads to is where you will find your SR wallet bitcoin address. After your first deposit your address will be displayed right on the Account page itself, and beside it will be a button that will allow you to generate a new wallet address. We recommend using a new address for each deposit.

Read the Wiki. It answers ALL of the questions you've asked above. If you do your due diligence you will not lose money; personally I've spent over $20,000 on Silk Road with absolutely zero problems. Take your time, do your research, and you'll be happy out!

Hello,

I have an SR account with BTC in from which I want to transfer BTC to another SR account. Will there be any way that the originator account of the BTC will be identifiable/traceable when the BTC arrives in my intended destination account?

Thanks

If you're transferring coins directly to another SR account you can send it directly to the name of the other account. BTC transferred that way are not mixed etc., but are instead simply 'moved' within the Silk Road internal wallet.

If you use the 'withdraw' function, then the Bitcoin should be tumbled but I'm not 100% sure on this. If you're really concerned about it you may want to withdraw your BTC, send it through a tumbler such as BitcoinFog, and then send it to the other SR account deposit address.

Fuck me! It shows that the vendor sent the btc and then 5 mins later it was withdrawn, do I have any recourse here?

Sorry to hear you got phished. :( But no, I'm afraid you do not have any recourse - Bitcoin transactions are irreversible. Every member is responsible for their own security. PLEASE read the SR Wiki; you NEED to know everything that's in it.

does anyone know what has happened to c63amg , he has not been on for over 3 days and his listings are down , i made an order from him yesterday now my coins are stuck , what happens in this situation . thanks

The option to cancel your order will become available 4 days (96 hours) after you placed the order. Hit that and your BTC will be refunded to you; if the order was hedged, please see the SR Wiki here:

well, I saw this
http://kuwhu2hpl3hrnyc7.onion/

This is a scam site - please do NOT use it. It has the ability to de-anonymise you as it asks you to download a file, which most likely includes a wallet.dat stealer or keylogger.

The poster above has posted this site or a variant of it a few times, and is either the person that runs it or else is working for them.

I want out of the noob zone but don't want to waste time doing it. Preferably a reputable forum member or mod. If a mod can bring me out of noob status without needing to spam, I'll pay for that too. Otherwise, I'll give you my temp password.

ALL sales must take place through a Silk Road vendor account. Do not ask for, nor offer this again without making a listing on the main site.

Hi guys, I opened an account on SR about a week ago and have had problems logging in the whole time. Yesterday it seemed to be working fine so I decided to try and fund my account. I made a btc purchase from a member with 100% positive feedback and over 150 transactions on SR. I was a bit nervous but I sent him £100 directly deposited to his local uk bank account this morning and then messaged him to confirm.

He replied quickly saying he'd look out for the deposit then transfer the btc. Since then I didn't hear from him for a couple hours and now the site is down? Is the site down or just not working for me? Also I'm not saying I got scammed and apologies to the vendor if as I expect, everything ends up legit from his side, but I've been reading the forums and it seems everyone is saying the bitcoin vendors are scammers.

He sent me .01 bitcent to then make the order from him on SR, have I been scammed? Anyone know when we will be able to get back on SR market?

Please see the SR Wiki here:

http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/wiki/index.php?title=Frequently_Asked_Questions#I_need_help_with_a_bitcoin_transaction_from_a_Silk_Road_vendor.

What the heck? SR is working fine? When I try to log in its asking for my pin which is not normal, then I get a message from DPR saying the site is under maintenance and a link to this forum for more info

Silk Road will NEVER ask you for your PIN. You're attempting to log in through a phishing site. The URL you should be using is:

silkroadvb5piz3r.onion

You will most likely not be able to access your account on the real site as the phishers have likely changed your passphrase; please see the following SR Wiki entry about how to reset that:

http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/wiki/index.php?title=Frequently_Asked_Questions#I_forgot_my_passphrase.

No I didn't pay through SR, the guy had 100% positive feedback on loads of transactions so I figured why would he bother screwing me for 100 quid, any ideas or tips on why I cant log into the SR market?

If you fail to work within the Silk Road order system, there is nothing that can be done for you in the event you get scammed. Do not FE, do not use BTC exchangers on Silk Road to get your Bitcoin and do not ever send Bitcoin directly to vendors.

Please read every page on the SR Wiki; 99% of what you need to know is explained there in detail, and had you read it previously you would not have lost your money:

What do those with pull think about this? or anyone else? Im curious

Thanks

Orders from the same vendor are often shipped separately, so a system such as the one you suggest simply would not work.

Moving this to Feature requests as it is not a Support issue.

There is no danger in allowing scripts for Silk Road, the forums, and trusted sites like MtGox or Bitstamp.

You should not be trusting ANY site not to run dodgy scripts.

I have already answered this query numerous times, klaw239:
http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=160748.msg1138205#msg1138205

As stated, it is a Bitinstant issue. Furthermore, if you hand-typed your deposit address and did not use capitals in the correct places, then you withdrew to an incorrect address. Please stop starting Support threads about this when you already have the answer to the question; get in touch with Bitinstant and ask them what has happened to your depost. Be sure to triple-check the address they tell you that the BTC was sent to against the deposit address they were supposed to arrive at.

Newbie discussion / Re: The Top Shelf scammed me
« on: May 20, 2013, 12:25 am »
he had great reviews people finalized early all the time and now his accounts gone. this is the second time i ever FE and get ripped off payed 30 usd for some super lemon haze and its been 10 days and hes no where to be found. i wish i could do something about it. any info on his where about is appreciated.

The Top Shelf has had their vending privileges revoked for scamming users. They will not be coming back.
Sorry to hear that you got burned, but you know the risk you are taking when you FE. :(

Please read the following:
http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad/about

http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/wiki/index.php?title=Buyer%27s_Guide#Escrow

http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/wiki/index.php?title=Frequently_Asked_Questions#I.27ve_already_finalized_my_order.2C_but_am_having_problems.

Never, ever FE. Finalising means what it sounds like it means: that the transaction has been concluded and both parties are satisfied. Silk Road cannot protect you when you decide to go around the safety that the escrow system provides.

i sold cocaine that was rated top 5 ever for $75 a gram and now have sheets of lsd for sale in escrow again

Sales are not permitted without a vendor account. You do not currently have a vendor account, so you can not make sales, neither in escrow nor out of it. I presume your vending privileges will be restored when the administrator completes their investigation - assuming you did not violate any terms of the Seller contract that you agreed to abide by upon purchasing vending privileges.

Maybe I entered the new pass word I changed 3 weeks before this wrong over 50 times but no reason to kick me off because of it.

Now you're stating that a possible reason for you not being able to access your account is because you may have locked your PIN? After everything above, you're now saying that a possible reason for all of this is because you may simply have been forgetful?!?!?
