i'd really appreciate it if somebody could help me out of my paranoia.

2 days before in the early morning an order was set "in transit" by my vendor. it's a domestic order and envelopes are shipped in my country at latest in 2 days. but nothing happened today.
had a similar problem with my order i made before. it was a domestic order, too and it took more than 1 week for arrival. i'm quite sure that it's not the fault of my vendor... he is just great.
i'm thinking of my address being put on a black list since my last order. nevertheless i received it. this seems to me like they observe my address and collect evidences.  but i don't know at all...
in this context i'm facing that i sent a package yesterday in the afternoon that arrived today in another country makes me more than nervous...
if they bust me my whole life would be in danger because of my job and my family...
my stomachache atm because of this shit can't be more painful...

please excuse my bad english, but i'm not a linguist/ native english speaker. this is my third thread here at the forums. in the first and second thread somebody helped due to his answer. if i'd know how to give good karma points to everybody who helps me in any way i'd do it.

Hi Newbie83,

Please refer to the Silk Road Wiki here:
http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/wiki/index.php?title=Frequently_Asked_Questions#Order_questions

As wraithe said, please give your order more time to arrive. As you said yourself, a previous domestic order took more than 1 week to arrive.

Regarding karma, you will be able to give positive or negative karma once you reach 100 posts.

Silk Road discussion / Re: Warning when trying to deposit funds
« on: May 24, 2013, 03:13 am »
Yes, there is a timer. If you go on for some time without making deposits the address resets like it was the first time you make a deposit. It is written in the wiki IIRC.

IMO it is a good security practice in case someone steal your account or something similar.

This is correct; if you haven't made a deposit for some time you will see that message - you can read more about it in the Wiki here:

Newbie discussion / Re: Are random logouts frequent?
« on: May 24, 2013, 03:09 am »
I keep getting logged out randomly, sometimes even after just a couple of minutes on the site. Is this common, it's happened to me a lot and I've only been here a few days. I definitely type in the correct user/pass/captcha but it just won't log back in. How common is this?

If you continue having problems with logouts, try hitting the "New Identity" button in the Vidalia Control Panel a couple of times 'til you get a stable connection.

THink it's important other potential buyers know of this vendor's history of subverting buyer / vendor trust, so posted in their vendor feedback thread:

A good idea indeed, Woger!

Best place to start is the Silk Road Wiki.
In particular, the buyer's guide..

 http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/wiki/index.php?title=Buyer%27s_Guide

A very basic explanation of bitcoins could be summarised as follows..

Bitcoins are just like any other currency. Think of it as buying foreign money for when you go on holiday.
You basically give someone money, and they sell you the equivalent amount in bitcoins, based on current exchange rates.

Read the seller's guide, then read the whole wiki.
It can seem confusing at first, but just have patience. You'll be buying your meds in no time.

:o

ordered from highly ranked reputable vendor and got some garbage stuff instead.

ordered a bit form another vendor who now asks where is the order after i FEd the order, and the vendro now "has no active listings"

the lesson here is that you can't rely on the vendor feedback rankings and SR is wide open to crooks.

as for FE policy, many reputable vendors asking for FE, if there is a policy to stay in escrow, any listing asking fro FE should be removed by the site.

It is up to the buyer whether they FE or not - you can't attempt to blame the fact that you couldn't take this to resolution on anybody else; it was entirely your decision to finalise the order before you received it. ???

Please see the SR Wiki here:

Newbie discussion / Re: Need help with password / pin
« on: May 24, 2013, 03:00 am »
Guys. ..... first of all I have no issue accessing my account ...... My question or problem is that I changed my Pass Phrase and PIN last night because I did a deposit and felt better safe than sorry both are strong. My problem is when I tried logging on to the forums with my new PIN it would not allow me to log on. I thought maybe just by chance the up date settings were not updated. So I used the original pin and was able to log on to the forums.

BUT in order to log on to the SR account the required pass phrase WAS updated and required me to use the new / recently updated pass phrase. I still have to use the original PIN to get to the forums. I may have had to do a separate pin for the forums but I didn't think so ( I may be wrong though ) If you guys tell me that there is a different pin for completing a transaction on SR versus logging on to the forums then I apologize for wasting your time I just don't remember ever doing a separate pin for the forums. I just changed the pin on the account settings page again and again I had to use the original pin to be able to write this message.

Hi michael58,

I believe you may be confused between "PIN" and "passphrase/password". Your PIN is only required when you are making transactions on Silk Road. Your passphrase, along with your username, is required when you are logging in to Silk Road.

Your forum account does not have a PIN, it has a passphrase, and that is something that only you know. Your forum account and your Silk Road account were set up separately so it is entirely possible that you used a different passphrase for both.

By the way, I used the SR.onion.to url to log in.

Newbie discussion / Re: TROUBLE LOGGING IN
« on: May 24, 2013, 02:53 am »
The site is currently working fine. Please make sure you are logging in at the correct URL:

silkroadvb5piz3r.onion

If you have been asked for your PIN then you have visited a phishing site - if this is the case, please log in to your account immediately and change both your passphrase and your PIN.

Instructions for doing this can be found in the SR Wiki:

Libertas, got it. Although one of my complaints is that the seller guide is not concise and clear. After reading it, I feel like it's consistent with my existing understanding of SR, but I can remember anything specific passages. I think one of the issues is, it is more of a guide, not contract. Some effort needs to be made to dilute the contractual obligations that I agreed to as a vendor, and put it into the contract, so that it's numbered list of roughly 1 page. If the vendor is unsure what some of the terms mean, then he is redirected to the guide, which goes into detail about how things work. Right the contract has only a few bullet points, and most are either vague or unenforceable. I suggest opening a different wiki page that vendors can actually edit, and let they themselves create the rules which will govern them.

The vast majority of the vendors here seem to have absolutely no problem with the Seller's Guide. It is not "more of a guide, not a contract" - point 5 of the Seller contract (out of only 7 points in total) explicitly states:
Quote
Read the Seller's Guide. Don't skip this step as it includes further information you will held accountable for as a Vendor!

Therefore, it can be presumed without doubt that the passages set out in the Seller's Guide are considered an intrinsic part of the Seller contract.

Allowing vendors to create rules to govern themselves is a ridiculous suggestion. Finalising Early would be enforced by the majority of vendors, they would allow themselves to keep buyer details and addresses, and would allow themselves to list items that are restricted (such as counterfeit currency, stolen goods, child pornography, items whose purpose it is to defraud etc.), completely going against the spirit and wishes of the community.

Vendors are not the most important members here - they are on equal footing with buyers; one is not superior to the other, nor will they be permitted to be.

Customer support / Re: Username

In the interest of honoring those who perfected chemical processes generations ago, my username Leukart should be in fact Leuckart. Could it be changed?

Hi Leukart,

No, I'm afraid it is not possible to change your username. Please read the SR Wiki as it answers 99% of the questions you might have:

The Frequently Asked Questions section contains the answer to your question above. :)

Customer support / Re: Vendor stats?
« on: May 24, 2013, 02:11 am »
Haven't heard back on this yet folks, but if you can't find your vendor stats by clicking around on the options available to you inside your vendor account then I'm afraid there's no way of seeing them.

Perhaps consider opening up a thread in the Feature Requests forum and asking other vendors to add their opinion there too?

Customer support / Re: A quik question about Resolution
« on: May 24, 2013, 02:00 am »
Just a quick update , you guys are wrong.
I just recently went through this first hand, before this I hadnt enterd resolution till a few days before expire (hoping it was going to show almost to the end)

In this last case I got bunk product  and the vendor was refusing to answer me or even read messages (still is) so I wanted to enter resolution right away. It came available when there was 7 days till Auto Finalize.
I put it into resolution and right away it jumped to 5 days untill expiry. (SR gets involved)

Just thought I would update for anyone whose interested

Strange, that. I'll double check with an administrator in case we have been misinformed. Apologies if that is the case, Hendrix99, and thanks for letting us know.
