....and the clone section is empty :)

No market for that then.

t

Ensure that you do not have the 'Domestic only' box ticked when viewing the categories - that is the most likely reason for seeing no results. There are currently 7 clone listings on the marketplace, some of which seem to sell incredibly well. :)

Genuine Question: do I not have the right to cancel orders? That statement merely saves them the hassle of canceled order.

You certainly do. However, you do not yet have the right to request that buyers FE as you implied would happen should a new customer with a low amount spent attempt to purchase one of your listings:

New customers don't need to FE unless <$1k in buyer stats.

Newbie discussion / Re: High Value Art
« on: May 31, 2013, 05:48 pm »
Are there restrictions on selling high value stolen art on SR?  For example, suppose I could have in my possession, within a month, a painting with a value of about 12 million dollars.  Would such a thing be welcome on SR?

If not, is there some other service on which such a work might be listed?

Yes, there are restrictions on stolen items; they are not permitted on Silk Road:

Newbie discussion / Re: New to SR. Home address?
« on: May 31, 2013, 04:52 pm »
FIRST POST WOO.

Anyway im just here for personal use. 1-5 g of mdma, and im really nervous about buying from this site and having cops show up at my door. If im just buying a small amount is it still very risky to use my real address? If it is where else can i send it safely?

And is it necessary for me to learn pgp? And whats the best place to find out more info on that?

If there are any additional security measures I should be taking please let me know. I feel like its to good to be true. Buy bitcoins, then buy drugs and have them magically arrive at my doorstep.

Hi mindlessWarrior,

Welcome to the community! :)

Using your real address is usually recommended as you will be trying to make your deliveries as discreet as possible by blending in with all other mail. There are opposing opinions on this, however, and you can view some of the discussion about it in the Shipping forum. You will be able to post there once you reach 50 posts.

PGP is absolutely necessary - it keeps your information secure and protected, and it's quite easy to learn once you familiarise yourself with the terminology. You can check out the Newbie PGP Club here:

You should also read the Silk Road Wiki in full - it contains a wealth of information necessary to keep you (and your funds!) safe:

Hi Libertas

Yeah I know about the vendor bond, I mentioned it in the first line of the post.

I am simply trying to gauge the market.

Sorry if I wasn't clear or was appearing to collect addresses in an underhand way - that will all come soon when I stump up the necessary... ;)

terp

I saw that, I just wanted to clarify that a vendor bond will be required before samples can be sent out - many people try to offer samples first, then decide whether to upgrade to a vendor account or not.

Regarding your product, UK Cheese is generally very well received. I don't smoke myself but others tell me that it's a very 'unique' strain, so I imagine you would have no problem shifting large amounts if the price is right and your stealth packaging is up to scratch.

As far as clones go, they have their own category on the marketplace which you can view here:
http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad/category/318

Perhaps checking out the items listed by those vendors will give you a better idea as to whether it is a viable business model or not.

Best of luck with your venture if you decide to go ahead with it. :)

I've got some loose ends to tie up in my professional life at the moment with work and shit, but I will ante up the vendor bond sometime soon and we shall test the water.

Now I want to be able to gauge the price I charge for my UK Cheese, so I am planning on sending out some samples so that you the buyer can tell me what price you think this weed is worth, I have my own ideas of course and already have some feedback to that effect, both in the 'real' world and on alternative marketplaces. I want to be able to take feedback and have some consensus (within reason) on what the stuff is worth.

I used to grow for local med clubs here in the UK, but the nature of serious illness means that I have some product available.

My question is :

Cheese has been hyped to hell and back ever since I can remember and I've had this cut since it was sent out from HAZ manor many many years ago. Its a subjective thing, but I do love the smoke. What is the perception of the cheese here on SR. I know some people are selling it (supposedly).

Is there a market here for UK cheese?

Oh and I've never seen clones for sale here or anywhere else - but whilst I've known of SR for maybe a couple of years now, I've not delved that deeply into the scene. Do thery ever get listed?

Enough from me for now : what do people think? Should I limit and send sample to specific people or come one come all?

Interested to hear your thoughts.

terp

Hi terpene,

You will need to purchase a vendor account if you wish to receive address details from members for sample purposes. Keep in mind that the $500 vendor bond is fully refundable once the terms of the bond are met making a Silk Road vendor account essentially free.

You can read more about the bond here:

Hi NoShitSherlock,

These may well fall under the restricted items list as their purpose is to defraud innocent people; you would need to clear it with an administrator before listing them once you have purchased a vendor account.

You can read more about the restricted items list here:

I've never used the BitFoG service, but I'm inclined to say "it's gone forever."  The problem is that whatever address you sent the bitcoins to is in possession of those coins.  If it's a tumbler service then I assume whatever address you said you want it ultimately sent to will end up in possession of those coins.  If you "deleted" the information for that address via BitFoG or any other service... there's no way to recover it unless you somehow regain access to that bitcoin address.

Hopefully that generic info is enough of an answer for you.

Is it possible to regain access to a Bitcoin address? I do know what the address is, it's only that BitFog Generated it.

Try mailing BitcoinFog's support crew - they seem reputable enough so should be able to help you out.

Exactly as SelfSovereignty said. +1 for the help, SS! :)

Ah, ok so the vendor has seen/recieved the order correct? since it says processing they are aware of it and in the process of shipping.. or is it possible they have not had the chance to look at the order just yet? lol ;p

The vendor may not yet have seen the order, it depends on when they check their order page - they may be spending time answering messages, packing up previous orders etc. and then check their order page or they may check their order page first - no way of knowing they've seen it 'til they mark it 'in transit'.

The order I am saying was not received was indeed the first, larger, one.  And although it looks like this larger order was simply cancelled by the vendor, the trouble is I did not receive a refund and have lost about $140 where it stands now.  The vendor is remains unresponsive after over a week of having not received my order

If the order was cancelled then you would have received a refund. You'll need to elaborate on what actually occurred to result in the cancellation and whether or not you finalised early on it.

libertas: that's why I scrapped it.
Although... I have ~25 + ~10 more in escrow or so transactions and approaching $20k in sales. Good thing after my vacation, you cannot be on my ass about this crap anymore. Although I do appreciate you making those posts for me :)

You stated "New customers don't need to FE unless <$1k in buyer stats." - I'm simply pointing out that requesting that a buyer with <$1k in buyer stats FE's is against the rules, something you would be aware of if you read the Seller's guide as I advised you to do when you first decided to break the rules here.

I'm on your ass about it because you're breaking rules. I would not be on your ass about it if you were not breaking rules. It is a simple case of cause and effect.

Sorry SaveOnScripts, but I have to post this here:

Silk Road recommends that you do not purchase your Bitcoin from a vendor / exchanger on Silk Road; please see the following SR Wiki entries regarding this:

Security / Re: THIS SCAMMER JUST PM'D ME
« on: May 31, 2013, 12:13 pm »
I put him on my ignore list.
just thought I'd post it in the other section to let others know not to deal with this guy Libertas.Dont worry,I wasnt going to fill all the topics with it ;)

There's no point in putting them on your ignore list as their accounts are deleted when we see them. They register new accounts a few times a day to post their mass-spam so you'll get another PM in the next round of spam messages they send out from a new username. The only way to stop this is to change your 'online' status as I mentioned above.

Appreciate you looking out for other members though - that's what this community is all about. :)
