Who are any of us to push our morals on others? Morals are entirely subjective, meaning that 'right and wrong' is entirely subjective. If I were to disagree with heroin being sold, for instance, because I've seen the effects of its misuse/abuse does that mean that nobody else should have access to it? The "I disagree with something so it shouldn't be allowed" mentality has absolutely no place in a libertarian community. You have the right to espouse such views, of course, but they conflict with the very same freedoms that you yourself enjoy here - the right to personal choice without interference from the moral views of others being the main one.

Guys we are experiencing problems with the new captcha input for messaging. I have tried reloading page, new tab and re-logging to no effect. I will put an announcement on our vendor profile but I really need a bug free messaging system to reply to the messages we get from our customers every day.

Another hurdle that SR puts in the way of customer usability? As a buyer, you weren't privy to the hundreds of spam messages that vendors were receiving. The captcha was essential in order to stop that spam.

perhaps but when stuff doesn't work, it puts people off.  SR is lucky in a way that it has a captive market but the issues with the captcha on the login page and this new captcha don't really make the site particularly easy to use..  and it does take both vendors and buyers to make a market.  Work on the "if you don't like it then leave" principle if you wish but that way lies redundancy.

I appreciate the points you're bringing up but this had to be implemented so as vendors could actually get regular messages; the scale of the spam was much worse than anything you might see here on the forums from time to time. It's the first day of implementation and I'm sure DPR will get it sorted out. We appreciate your patience on the matter.

These issues will be ironed out as soon as possible folks; please ensure you're using the latest update to the Tor Browser Bundle (if applicable). Some users are reporting that they think it may be a captcha time-out issue and that their problem is resolved if they refresh the page before typing the captcha and hitting send. This would make sense and I'll make sure DPR is aware of it.
