Customer support / Re: Vendor Bond
« on: June 23, 2013, 05:15 am »
samesamebutdifferent is 100% correct; you have to make at least 30 transactions totaling $1,500 or more, and have been a vendor for at least 6 weeks before you can claim a refund.

The terms of the bond were clearly set out when you were upgrading your account, and you agreed to those terms when signifying your agreement with the Seller Contract by clicking 'I agree'; if you do not meet the terms of the bond, you cannot receive a bond refund.

Hey Libertas,

So a person can't sell here without a vendor account, but we obviously talk about mt.gox, bitinstant, someone named virtex etcetc. So if there is a bitcoin exchange we're okay to post that on here right? as in "hey guys I found this exchange xyzchanger, I haven't tried them yet but they look decent. Here's their webiste www.whatever... "

that is acceptable right?

Of course that is perfectly acceptable, bluegreen23. :)

Hey guys,
Unfortunately the large exchanges have to adhere to the banks regs and the banks get them from the govt, obviously. So, although the govt regs may not be as strict in Canada, Bank of Nova Scotia aka Scotiabank has been cracking down on transfers to mtgox. I haven't heard of many more incidences with banks in Canada. Anyway, if you guys need coins for now, you can send me you pgp key via email and we can work a deal. I have some at my disposal and would b willing to send them to your for a nominal 8% fee. Hit me up or send me your key and we can talk. Oh, and yes, the obstacles and fees you pay to the exchanges are a bitch!

I issued you the following warning last night:

http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=175071.msg1261587#msg1261587
without sounding like a damn politician, because they are good for nothing, I am here to accommodate the btc community. I have bitcoin to sell and at a great rate. I'm not a vendor, I'm not an esrow dealer - If you want to deale peer t peer, let's make a deal.

Consider this your first and only warning: sales are not permitted without purchasing a Silk Road vendor account. If you attempt to make sales again before obtaining vending privileges your account will be deleted.

Libertas

You decided to ignore that warning, and 'btcenthusiast' has been deleted as a result.

Product offers / Re: My Bitcoin For Your Western Union
« on: June 22, 2013, 12:28 am »
I have around #XXX Bitcoins that I want to sell. I am taking western union or SEPA.

Is there anyone interested in this? If so I will make a Listing.

Fees are 1-3%. You cover WU fees.

Could you provide a link to your vendor account please, Gatz?

Libertas

Sure thing. I was going to make custom listings for each order but I guess I'll do 1 big listing.

THE LISTING:

Thank you. I couldn't find your vendor profile when I checked as it is under a different name than your forum profile. Perhaps consider placing your vendor profile link in your signature?

I am currently an active vendor of 11 months. Thanks for the bump :)

My sincerest apologies; in my haste I neglected to check the link in your signature.

Customer support / Re: Auto-withdraw doesn't work?
« on: June 21, 2013, 06:16 am »
Is there a certain minimum balance to trigger the auto-withdraw?

The wiki implies that it splits your payment between your three chosen addresses - but I have it enabled, have the three addresses set, yet any time a payment is finalized I just end up with a couple'a bitcoins sitting in my account, not being automatically distributed to my chosen addresses.

Maybe it's done as a daily cron job or after you have X bitcoins in your account? I'm rather confused!

The minimum balance for auto-withdraw is 3 BTC.

Just wondering what sort of interest there would be for a few products. Would be worldwide with early finalise.

[SNIP]

You would not be able to ask buyers to Finalize Early as a new vendor:

http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/wiki/index.php?title=Seller%27s_Guide#Listing

Quote
NOTICE: If you are a new vendor, you may not ask your customers to finalize their orders and release payment to you before you ship, a practice known as "finalizing early". If you do this, you will lose your selling privileges. Once you have completed 35 successful transactions and have been a seller for at least one month, you may ask your customers to finalize early without repercussion. In no way do we support finalizing early in general and this rule should not be construed as support for finalizing early for more established vendors.

Libertas: 3.7 btc sent.

Thank you kindly, muskabuzz. I'm divvying it up between the mods and admins as we speak and I've made a post in your thread (http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=110439.msg1257222#msg1257222) asking everyone that contributed to it to PM me their SR username and I'll send their portion of my cut to them over on the main site.

Thanks again for starting the thread to get ideas, and for putting up the reward! :)

Hi all,

muskabuzz recently awarded this bounty to the mods and admins for the work we have done in keeping the forums spam-free; as we obviously could not accept any of his revered weed for this, he provided us with a BTC bounty instead.

My portion is being donated on muskabuzz's behalf to everyone that contributed to this thread.

My portion of the bounty amounts to 0.74 BTC, so splitting that up between 13 of you, 0.05692307 BTC will be sent to each member on the list below:

blurr22
Skeezer
rosannebar
pinkkush
danknugsdun (sent)
SorryMario
dbz4u
Revolutionista
fivesigma
HeatFireFlame (sent)
robotrippin
lokiju
JackBlue (sent)

BlarghRawr is unfortunately no longer available, so I cannot send anything to them.

If your username is on the list above, please PM me your Silk Road handle and I'll transfer the BTC to you over on the main site. It might take me a while to get around to sending it as I'm quite busy but I'll take care of it when I get a chance.

Thanks again to muskabuzz for starting this thread to get ideas to fight spam here on the forums, and for putting up a most generous reward! :)

Customer support / Re: How do you get a vendor tag?
« on: June 20, 2013, 03:24 am »
When we became a vendor we did not need a bond...over a year ago...

We forgot our password for our "official" vendor name months ago

And we never received a msg from SR

Did you read the SR Wiki? Specifically the following section:

http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/wiki/index.php?title=Frequently_Asked_Questions#I_forgot_my_passphrase.

Thread locked as the OP's issue has been addressed and there is enough other info available here to answer the questions of others relating to the Vendor tag.
