I've been busy with Admin duties on the main site so haven't been able to frequent the forums as much as I used to. I only do it in this board to keep on top of all the issues so once the OP's question has been answered and 'resolved' I lock it like a customer support ticket. If you would like a thread reopened to add to it please just pm me and I will unlock it immediately. This board gets flooded sometimes though and it becomes quite challenging to ensure all everything is answered, newbies come in here spamming occasionally too so this way I know when I log in and see 'new' next to a thread it needs my attention, that all make sense?

In saying that I'll leave them unlocked if the think it's an issue, it has nothing to with me having the last say, its just my way of manging this board, if people would like to carry on the discussion once the OP's issue has been resolved I would also be happy to move that thread to a more appropriate section so as not to gunk up this board.

Thanks for the response. I would like the option to comment on any thread. If you don't lock them then the OP continues to gets the opinion of the whole community and not just one person. This is important for security.

Customer Support threads are generally locked when they receive a definitive answer. There is no need for them to be left open once the issue has been resolved; threads in this section are not meant for discussion - that is what the main forums and Newbie discussion forum are for.

EDIT: I have merged your other threads into the threads that already existed. Please do not use the Customer Support forum for discussion, nor open new threads here unless you have a customer support issue.

ALL orders must go through the Silk Road order system.

Whether you are accepting Bitcoin for a product you're offering, or accepting another item for a product you're offering by way of trade (which is an inherently bad idea, by the way), you are not permitted to engage in OOE transactions. The consequences of engaging in OOE transactions can be found in the Seller's Guide.

Furthermore, buyers are not permitted to engage in trade on the forums. If people wish to give others free stuff that is up to them but they are not permitted to ask for payment in any way, shape or form, whether that payment is made in Bitcoin or by way of a product of any sort. We strongly recommend against providing anybody on the forums with your personal details for obvious reasons.

Please note that accepting an item as a trade for another item is not 'giving or receiving free stuff', it is in fact 'engaging in trade'.
