This is not a Customer Support issue; your other thread on the same topic has been moved to the 'Drug safety' forum.

Thread locked.

My hypothesis was proven to be sound by another forum member. Any other member is free to test that hypothesis by creating a thread in the Off topic section for that purpose and attempting to remove it using the 'Remove Topic' button.

No shit the remove topic button works!  That really doesn't prove anything though.  Dropping a plugged in hair dryer in a bathtub full of water while you are in it will electrocute you.  So anyone who is electrocuted surely dropped a plugged in hair dryer in a bathtub full of water while they were in it.  You can test this by sitting in a bathtub with water and dropping a plugged in hairdryer in it.

Herp derp Lib herp derp.......

When you're quite done 'herping' and 'derping', would you like to propose a course of action that can be taken in order to address your concerns?

The person that posted the [New Leak- NSA data can be used against Americans for ordinary criminal activity] thread which they then deleted hasn't logged into their account for 4 days, and has deleted all of their posts bar their "spam to 50" posts, along with two they seem to have missed in the [NSA-proof encryption exists. Why doesn’t anyone use it?] and [U.S. intelligence mining data from nine U.S. Internet companies in broad secret] threads. I presume they removed them with intent of covering up what they were talking about, but it is not my place - nor anybody's - to demand a reason for that should they log back in at any stage.

Your tinfoil hat must be getting a tad worn out by now, no?

I haven't deleted any of my threads....

I'm unsure if you're speaking about any particular threads or speaking in general but I just checked and none of the threads you started have been deleted.

Yeah, okay, nobody has explained shit.
GREAT.

THE GREAT 'SPIRACY CUNTINUES  >:(

Really everybody? FUCKING REALLY?!?! We're going to accept the bullshit Libertas just said as an appropriate explanation? How about motherfuckin' NO. Case continues.

I guess this means Libertas isn't secretively a LEO though; their detective work fucking sucks.

My hypothesis was proven to be sound by another forum member. Any other member is free to test that hypothesis by creating a thread in the Off topic section for that purpose and attempting to remove it using the 'Remove Topic' button.

Apart from being too busy to do so, I did not want to test it myself due to concerns raised in this thread that administrators were deleting threads. It would be somewhat reminiscent of a Banana Republic if the people being accused of things were to be the ones to investigate themselves and declare their hypotheses sound based on their own findings, so I thought it better to be proven by somebody that was already contributing to the discussion at hand - I'm sure you can see the logic in that.

Okay so it seems this has been resolved then! :) No conspiracy after all! ;) Thanks to all of you for your contributions towards working it out!

So we're just going to guess that the thread starters deleted their threads for no reason and didn't speak up here?  Instead of looking in the trash bin?

Lol okay then.

When this was first brought up I checked the recycle bin, though I didn't have the time to examine things thoroughly nor PM many users. What I found suggested that the thread starters did indeed delete their threads, hence my hypothesis outlined above which was proven to be sound by 'ecstacydude'. We have eliminated the possibility of a moderator or other administrator deleting them due to the timestamps on the posts and the 'Last Active' timestamp of the moderators / admins which I recorded when this was first brought up.

You're reading into this with the mind of a conspiracy theorist, and I can see why some people had that mindset given the nature of the discussion in the threads in question. The OPs reasons for deleting the threads are their own, and we are not going to go around asking people why they are deleting certain posts / threads that they've started for three reasons: a) they have the right to remove their posts if they see fit to do so, b) we are not the Stasi, and c) we would not have the time do so if we were the Stasi!!

Why they deleted the threads, I have no idea. Perhaps they did it to spark just this kind of discussion and encourage a sense of distrust, perhaps not. Nobody knows but them.

Either that or you're so busy that you can't stop to check who deleted the threads and shoot them a brief email asking for their reasoning.

^Yes, that. I'm incredibly busy on the main site at the moment; I won't be able to spend time looking into this until I can free up some of my time. I have a feeling though that OP's have been deleting their threads. Seeing as I don't have the time right now, would you guys be so kind as to check that hypothesis by starting a test thread, throwing up a few posts from different members and having the OP see if they can delete the thread despite there being responses posted?

This thread will absolutely not get deleted. I'll be looking into the issue when I have some free time, and I will get to the bottom of it.

Product offers / Re: LOOKING FOR SELLER`S THEY WANT TRADE !!!
« on: June 29, 2013, 05:50 pm »
I read the quotes, I was just wondering really why it is they would care. Its no big deal you dont have to call a Mod i see clearly what Libertas said, I guess i was just surprised He never commented on any of my posts when they were made.

Please refer to my post here (already quoted above by Jack N Hoff):
http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=171992.msg1273034#msg1273034

ALL orders must go through the Silk Road order system.

Whether you are accepting Bitcoin for a product you're offering, or accepting another item for a product you're offering by way of trade (which is an inherently bad idea, by the way), you are not permitted to engage in OOE transactions. The consequences of engaging in OOE transactions can be found in the Seller's Guide.

Furthermore, buyers are not permitted to engage in trade on the forums. If people wish to give others free stuff that is up to them but they are not permitted to ask for payment in any way, shape or form, whether that payment is made in Bitcoin or by way of a product of any sort. We strongly recommend against providing anybody on the forums with your personal details for obvious reasons.

Please note that accepting an item as a trade for another item is not 'giving or receiving free stuff', it is in fact 'engaging in trade'.

We are generally quite busy and we do not see every post on the forums; that is why the 'report' button is so important, so as community members can actively get involved in protecting each other and the community at large.

Talking about "fans and valued clients" whilst you do not have a vendor account and then providing a Bitcoin address? You're walking a very fine line here.

What is the consensus? Can you trust this guy or not? I keep seeing scammer threads and do not do business with one of his various accounts.

Help me Libertas, you're my only hope.

I cannot advise anybody on whom they should or should not trust, but I think the posts in this thread speak volumes.

theDankEstablishment,

You've posted all over the forums asking for people to contact you via privnote to purchase items despite knowing previously that such behaviour (OOE) is not permitted.

If you return, please ensure you abide by the rules of our community.
