What Jack N Hoff is posting regarding moderator wages and requirements etc. is being pulled completely out of the air. Needless to say, DPR ensures that moderators receive a satisfactory amount of remuneration for the job that they do.

Libertas

No it's not.  Do you want me to say the exact wage?  I got my information straight from the horses mouth.

I just PMed you the exact pay.  Now stop talking out of your ass Libby. ::)

The information in your PM is incorrect. I would suggest that you take your own advice from the latter part of your post above.

Libertas

You're completely full of shit Libertas.  I didn't disclose the exact amount publicly, which I don't see an issue with regardless, so why are you lying about it? ???

I am not going to engage in a war of words with you on the forums, Jack N Hoff. The information you put forth regarding pay was incorrect.

Technical support / Re: Cannot upload pictures to listings...
« on: July 04, 2013, 06:44 pm »
FYI - Libertas, 400 pixels x 300 pixels is way too big. MissNatural, a still avatar (JPEG) should work fine at 60 x 60 pixels. If it doesn't fit (sometimes the file size itself may be too big), gradually reduce the size of the image down, two pixels at a time, until it successfully uploads. You can use GIMP2 (just Google it), an excellent freeware image editor to adjust the size of your image. There are tutorials available online which demonstrate how this is done. If you get stuck, you can send me the image via Tor Mail - wadozo@tormail.org - and I can do it for you.  :)

You're completely right Wadozo; I mistakenly presumed the poster was talking about uploading pictures to a listing - not paying enough attention to sig. information! Thanks for clarifying! :)

Libertas

I most definitely was talking about uploading to a [vendor] listing :)

Ah okay. :) In that case all bases have been covered for others looking at this thread wondering how to upload pictures to listings and upload pictures for avatars! :)

Customer support / Re: Change Listing Name !
« on: July 04, 2013, 04:39 pm »
I know right know it's impossible to change a listing name, but is it possible to change it if I ask to the silkroad support ??? If not, could you consider doing it one day ! Example : I have a listing name that is 100 x 25i-NBOMe blotters (1,000ug) ! I want it to change it to 100 x 25i-NBOMe blotters (1,200ug) ! That's a small difference that do not worth to lose the visibility of the listing just for this difference !

Best Regards,
T5

No, we do not change listing titles. If the product has changed enough to warrant a change in the listing title then it has changed enough to warrant a new listing for it altogether. The previous feedback would be for a different product, so it would no longer apply to the product currently on offer.

EDIT: Thread locked as resolved.

Every time I try I get "Sorry, an error was encountered.

We could not process your request."

How do I fix this? The picture I am attempting to upload is a High-Res(2848x1602) 10megabyte JPEG.

Reduce the image size to 400px × 300px and it should upload just fine.

Customer support / Re: Need a PIN Reset/Unlock, Shows 114578 hrs
« on: July 03, 2013, 07:07 am »
A really really long time ago I made the account username1000, at that time I believe I was not asked to provide a PIN. A really long time ago I wanted to purchase something, so I deposited BTC but I was asked for a PIN upon trying to complete the transaction. Back then I had read the rules and I was suppose to wait until I got a secondary PM so I could reset my PIN. I just made a new account and completed my purchase and forgot about the old one. Needless to say at one point all messages must have been deleted or pruning is turned on for them as I now have no messages on my original account and it says "Your PIN has been locked. You may unlock your PIN in 114578 hrs." What do I need to do to reset or get a PIN for that account so I can get back my BTC or make purchases?

Please contact SR Support over on the main site.

This thread will absolutely not get deleted. I'll be looking into the issue when I have some free time, and I will get to the bottom of it.

Libertas

Have we reached the bottom of it?     ;o)

We have indeed. Please see my previous posts in this thread.

Libertas

Will heads roll?

Not unless the OP's of the threads in question guillotine themselves.

Libertas you seem so damn spot on with each and every response within this thread, not that your usually not, that is in fact in the majority with you.

Thank you for the modding.... :)

Thank you SOUTHPAW. Moderators and admins really appreciate such kind words. :)

Newbie discussion / Re: No FE button
« on: July 03, 2013, 03:09 am »
Silk Road recommends that you do not finalize an order before you receive it. If you do, there is no way to help you if your order does not arrive as you will no longer be in escrow. To answer your query, an item cannot be finalized until it has been marked 'in transit' by the vendor. Again though, please understand that you are taking a risk by FE'ing and Silk Road will not be able to help you if there is an issue with your order.

<<As I said, it is an informal list and is not sanctioned nor supported by Silk Road. Not every vendor checks the list, and not every vendor that does check the list uses it. It's similar to a "Rumor mill" section, and any buyer is free to start a thread there listing any vendors that are threatening to add them to the informal vendor blacklist them unless they leave good feedback. In fact, such a thread might be a good way to balance such things out.>>

"and any buyer is free to start a thread there".  I am not clear on where you mean?  Where is this thread where a buyer is free to start a thread?
Thanks,  Orpheus

Sorry, I should have been more clear; I was talking about the Rumor Mill:

Withdrawals were temporarily disabled until we were happy that everything was working correctly after the upgrade. They have now been re-enabled and your withdrawals should arrive at their destination addresses shortly.

« on: July 03, 2013, 03:02 am »
Your withdrawals should be processed shortly. I cannot go into any more detail than that, I'm afraid - any withdrawals made whilst withdrawals were disabled were queued up to be withdrawn when we re-enabled them. I understand that some of you are worried about your BTC, and I apologize for the delay; don't worry though, your BTC will come through.
