Sorry guys, we'll get things back up and running asap!

And no, it's not "The End of the Road"!  ;)

Consider this your first and only warning: sales are not permitted without purchasing a Silk Road vendor account. If you attempt to make sales again before obtaining vending privileges your account will be deleted.

EDIT: It seems that you do have a vendor account but are also directing Silk Road members off-site for purchases.
You were already given an initial warning about making sales here by cirrus:
http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=194919.msg1404388#msg1404388

Account deleted for attempting to make sales on the forums and directing Silk Road buyers off-site on numerous occasions.

Mixed Strains or Multiple Strains

I would call it hybrids. That seems to be a more used term. Never heard someone call them blends.

And it should be sort of obvious that those are more or less 50/50s since there are also sections for sativa/indica dominant hybrids.

Yea "blends" sounds like spice

My suggestion:
"pure sativa"
"sativa-dominant"  (hybrids)
"indica-dominant" (hybrids)
"pure indica"

yeah this is awesome. Hope to see all vendors using this. Would make my life easier when looking for those dank sativa's.

EDIT: also might want to add 50/50's

Thanks for all the suggestions! I've renamed the category 'Hybrids' to remove any 'spice' confusion, and all 50/50 Indica/Sativa strains will go there for now. I will leave the other categories as they are for the time-being; I'm running through each listing manually to determine where it would be best placed but when I'm running through them again I'll see if we can justify a 'pure sativa' and 'pure indica' category.

I like Silk Road's built in coin mixing and generating a new BTC address whenever I want, so I generally send all my bitcoins to my SR "wallet". My question is, if I sent some bitcoins into escrow to a different service, say localbitcoins, and the transaction falls through and my BTC are sent back, will they end up back in my SR wallet?

The reason I'm not sure is because when you send BTC out of your SR wallet I don't think they come out as being from your SR wallet address, according to the blockchain. I could be wrong on that. So if they send it back to whatever address SR used to send, it won't be my address.

Bitcoins sent off-site to gambling sites such as satoshidice etc. that send back to the same address that the BTC were sent from will be lost. Silk Road wallet addresses cannot be used for sending 'from', only for sending 'to'.

Localbitcoins requires you to fund your wallet there before you can fund a sell order so the bitcoins will already be on that site if you decide not to go through with the transaction.

Customer support / Re: Resolve ticket showing as finalized
« on: August 07, 2013, 02:46 am »
You failed to mention here that you finalized the order, then attempted to 'undo' it by stopping the page from loading and licked resolve AFTER clicking the 'finalize' button. Once an order has been finalized there is nothing we can do, and we cannot offer support for finalized orders.

Thread locked as resolved.

I noticed weed menu has new subcategories.

Very professional.

The blends is confusing though.    Some think it means Hybrid, some think it means two different strains mixed in one bag. I think of Incense blends myself.

I am currently categorizing listings in the Weed category; I'm open to suggestions on what we can call the 'Blends' subcategory though. It's being used for strains that are pretty much a 50/50 Indica/Sativa mix, and I called it 'Blends/Hybrids' at one stage but brought it back to 'Blends' for simplicity.

If people could chime in here with their suggestions for this category, whether 'Blends', 'Hybrids' or something else entirely, that'd be great. :)

Please create a new account on the main site and message SR Support with the last SR wallet address (belonging to your account) that you deposited BTC to.

If the funds are gone and they were not withdrawn by you, your account was compromised and your bitcoins were stolen, most likely as a result of entering the login credentials you use for Silk Road on an Atlantis phishing URL, or using an incorrect Silk Road URL. As the Bitcoin protocol is irreversible by design, we are unable to recover them.

You should change your password and PIN immediately (you can do this on the 'Settings' page). They should both be changed to something unique and complex that you have never used before, neither on Silk Road nor any other site.

Please ensure that you either memorize or bookmark the real address: [silkroadvb5piz3r.onion] and do not enter your Silk Road login credentials at ANY other URL (including other marketplaces - use a different password and PIN for those.)

You should also regularly check your system for keyloggers, dataloggers and rootkits, and ensure that you always use a unique username and complex password that you do not / have not used anywhere else, especially on another marketplace.

That was me, sorry - there were too many topics in 'Silk Road discussion' that simply shouldn't have been there, and that topic was one of them. I'll leave it up to the mods to determine when it should be moved back to 'Security'.

Customer support / Re: WTF happened to all my BTC!?!?
« on: August 03, 2013, 11:51 pm »
The very first thing I did was change my pin/password and I've done it 3 times now all from different computers with different IP's, and EVERY time someone finalizes a payment it gets withdrawn with no notes of to where and what? But this is really starting to get aggravating, I'm down over 1000$ because of this and that number keeps growing. 24 hours and I'm still here losing $$

If the funds are gone and they were not withdrawn by you, your account was compromised and your bitcoins were stolen as a result of you entering the login credentials you use for Silk Road on an Atlantis phishing URL. I know that you used an Atlantis phishing URL because the phishers added the phishing link to the bottom of your profile. You need to remove the Atlantis phishing link from your profile page immediately.

Please also check to make sure that the phishers have not created a sub-account with 'full' access permissions with which they can control your account. If there is one there you should delete it, and please be more careful with your login details in future.

^ You have already been advised of the above in a message sent to you 17 hours ago by Vendor Support; have you done all of that, especially the last part?
