Customer support / Re: Stolen BTC

Ah, from your initial message it sounded as though the BTC were already in your account, and were then removed, not that you were waiting for a deposit. :)

Product offers / Re: Selling brazzers account
« on: August 27, 2013, 08:29 pm »
Hello.

Looking to get 10$ for this.

Got 1 brazzers account with one mounth of subscription left.

Since i am not a vendor on SR i can't sell it there, thats why i am selling this here.

Consider this your first and only warning; sales are not permitted on the forum, and advertising items for sale on the forums is not permitted without a vendor account. Any further attempts to make sales without a vendor account will result in your account being deleted.

Whomever posted that message isn't taking the Silk Road tumbler into account.

There was an issue with deposits and withdrawals earlier which has now been resolved.

Customer support / Re: Stolen BTC
« on: August 27, 2013, 05:30 pm »
Today I had just under 1 btc stolen from my SR account. This has never happened before and I don't know what to do. I've never shared my password or PIN. I contacted support but haven't heard back yet. Am I just fucked? Does this happen often? Are you supposed to change your pass/PIN EVERYTIME you make a deposit? This fucking sucks.

If the funds are gone and they were not withdrawn by you, your account was compromised and your bitcoins were stolen, most likely as a result of entering the login credentials you use for Silk Road on another site, or using an incorrect Silk Road URL. As the Bitcoin protocol is irreversible by design, we are unable to recover your coins.

You should change your password and PIN immediately (you can do this on the 'Settings' page). They should both be changed to something unique and complex that you have never used before, neither on Silk Road nor any other site.

Please ensure that you either memorize or bookmark the real address: [silkroadvb5piz3r.onion] and do not enter your Silk Road login credentials at ANY other URL (including other marketplaces - use a different password and PIN for those.)

You should also regularly check your system for keyloggers, dataloggers and rootkits, and ensure that you always use a unique username and complex password that you do not / have not used anywhere else, especially on another marketplace.

Rumor mill / Re: Got temporarily demoted as a vendor
« on: August 27, 2013, 12:01 am »
Just to clear the confusion, yes, that message was indeed sent by us.

Libertas

What in the hell man? Now I'm all butthurt because I got permanently demoted instead of getting a suspension or a warning. I even offered to pay a $500 fine. Did you guys become more lenient or something all of a sudden?

(Drops subject.)

sad face.

:(

If you wish to take the matter of your demotion up with me privately, BruceCampbell, you are free to PM me and I will respond to you when I have the time to do so. I will not be commenting any further on your demotion in public as it has already been addressed in a large number of unrelated threads, derailing many of them in the process.

You were already warned about attempting to make sales without a vendor account - your accounts will continue to be deleted if you continue to attempt to make sales without a vendor account.

Customer support / Re: HELP with COUPON CODE USE!
« on: August 17, 2013, 05:40 am »
Message SR Support with the code and they will redeem the value of the code back to your account. Whomever contacts us with the code first is able to redeem it, whether that is the buyer that received it or the vendor that created it.

Technical support / Re: Question about SR Commissions
« on: August 15, 2013, 10:47 pm »
This confuses the hell out of me as well.
My product costs $22.09 (in total, post-commission), shipping is $3, and the total price in the tx# details is $22.50 where it should be $25.09. Okay, I understand the we're paying the extra 4% for the hedging, but the difference here between what I get and what I should get is more like 10% than 4%!
I mean, what the hell! Where does the rest of the money go?

Zen Garden

The escrow currency is always USD; the difference you're seeing is likely being caused by the USD:EUR exchange rate.

Customer support / Re: SR Quality Control, its real, right?
« on: August 15, 2013, 12:56 am »
'SR Quality Control' on the main site is run by us, yes. It is another facet of the site, but if you need to get in touch with us directly, 'Vendor Support' is still the account to PM.

Libertas

Thank you! I was worried briefly that Vendor Support was compromised and sending out false messages for the purpose of extorting money from vendors.

Now I realize it is fully functional and able to extort owed money from vendors.

Your claim of 'extortion' is quite ridiculous. Vendors are not permitted to engage in OOE deals, and they agree not to engage in such deals when signing up to become a vendor. If they feel that they don't need to pay commissions that's fine - they don't have to open a vendor account on Silk Road if they don't wish to pay commission. If they wish to vend to a global customer base with Silk Road's reach without fees they are free to set up their own marketplace and grow it to the size of Silk Road with security of its members as the number one priority. Doing that without charging a commission will prove impossible. Commissions are a necessity in order to reinvest in Silk Road and ensure that vendors are actually able to sell their products safely in the first place, and equally, that buyers are able to buy the products that a vendor is offering.

If and when we catch a vendor sticking their middle finger up at Silk Road by screwing us out of the commission that they agreed to pay when signifying their agreement with the Seller Contract, there are consequences for that.

Technical support / Re: still not ranked vendor?
« on: August 12, 2013, 09:13 pm »
Hey all ,
I completed 4 transactions and they all gave me feedback commetns. But my stats say :
has been a vendor for 5 days
was last seen: today
is unranked with 0% positive feedback from 4 transactions
has 18 fans
how is this possible?

Please read the SR Wiki in its entirety:

Your query is already answered very clearly on the 'Feedback score' page.
