What you can get:
1: Info about SR/security/getting secure btc's in/out SR.
Also usb drives with all security, or info about how to make them yourselves. (this

requires a fee).

Disadvantage: there is a fee (which there always is) but it's not much.
A small fee for the offer. Mostly the fees the btc suppliers ask + a small fee for this

offer (info, btc's etc.)
Depending on your location + bank it might take up to 0-max 5 days to get btcs...

If the funds are gone and they were not withdrawn by you, your account was compromised and your bitcoins were stolen, most likely as a result of entering the login credentials you use for Silk Road on another site, or using an incorrect Silk Road URL. As the Bitcoin protocol is irreversible by design, we are unable to recover your coins.

You should change your password and PIN immediately (you can do this on the 'Settings' page). They should both be changed to something unique and complex that you have never used before, neither on Silk Road nor any other site.

Please ensure that you either memorize or bookmark the real address: [silkroadvb5piz3r.onion] and do not enter your Silk Road login credentials at ANY other URL (including other marketplaces - use a different password and PIN for those.)

You should also regularly check your system for keyloggers, dataloggers and rootkits, and ensure that you always use a unique username and complex password that you do not / have not used anywhere else, especially on another marketplace.

Don't put the blame on your users by saying we've all used archived addresses, what all of us???!!

Not every user received a message stating that they were using archived addresses. In any event, we do recommend in the Buyer's Guide that users should use a new address for each deposit:

For user's making their first deposit and for users that haven't made a deposit in a while, your account page will have a link that says "Click here to make a deposit". The page that link leads to is where you will find your SR wallet bitcoin address. After your first deposit your address will be displayed right on the Account page itself, and beside it will be a button that will allow you to generate a new wallet address. We recommend using a new address for each deposit.

And how rude not to talk through the support forums that are here for this exact purpose. Thank you for sorting it, but you handled this situation very poorly. This mishap has had a serious impact on the trust I have with SR as you completely ignored us. You have policies and systems to rectify problems such as the forum and ticketing system, yet you ignored everybody and that's unacceptable!

All support tickets received an answer - I saw to that personally, so I know that all tickets were responded to, and all affected users that sent a message to SR Support regarding this issue were advised that they could get back in touch with us if there were still any issues with missing deposits or withdrawals.

There may have been a delay of 12 hours+ but given the number of tickets received they were all handled as quickly as possible, and within the 24 hour time-frame set out in our policies. We actually try to keep tickets under 12 hours, but when they spike like this it can take longer to get through them.
