Ruby does bytecode but in most implementations of it there is not a (easy , or intended) way to launch programs directly from bytecode. Also I think Ruby is 20 years old not 18. As far as how many people here know C and can audit it, I assume quite a few actually. I have had no problems finding a whole lot of people to look over any of the code I have ever written. We are on a forum on the darknet where everyone uses crypto, there are probably hundreds to a thousand professional and hobbyist programmers on this forum.
