Not sure on LSZ or LSB, some of the hofmann blotters from Europe were tested as LSM though. I liked them :D.

they use strong enough encryption, TLS, and pen registers are only for traffic analysis not payload interception. The issue is the encryption is only up to the server, it is not encrypted passing through their servers, and that is where the tap will take place.

we can take this thought experiment:

a vendor on SR has invented a totally impenetrable bag solution, impermeathon. Unfortunately, the only way you can get impermeathon is by ordering it from them. Even if we all agree that impermeathon is impermeable , and dogs will not hit on customers packs if the drugs are in the impermeathon bags, it is even worse than using no sealing bag at all now because all the vendors are centralized in getting orders of impermeathon from a potentially rouge and certainly compromisable node. At the end of the day the argument has nothing to do with what materials are best, and everything to do with what vending practices are best. Given the choice between perfect packaging and overall vendor security, we would be wise to opt for overall vendor security. Thankfully there are ways you can get impermeathon without going through channels on SR, but just keep in mind that if the vendor is compromised it doesn't matter if they ship their drugs through a teleportation device that bypasses customs and postal system entirely.

Dude nothing compares to good ol' LSD. Also nothing else besides Mushrooms & Mescaline have the same safety profile as LSD.  25i-NBOMe is a fun substance but like I said nothing compares to good ol' LSD but I will say that 2C-B is a pretty good substance as well that's worth a try.  Also try out any of the NBOMe. Like I said nothing compares to LSD and nothing else is as safe as LSD (Besides Mushrooms & Mescaline).
go ahead and try out new psychedelics but I bet you'll be clinging onto LSD. Also when you do take a trip with a substance other than LSD try not to have an LSD trip in mind. Take the experience for what it is without comparing it to LSD.
it is true that lsd has a unique magic that cannot be replicated, but the same can be said about mushrooms and mescaline. all three are worth exploring in their own right. in a way, mushrooms and mescaline are like yin and yang... complementary opposites. mushrooms are lunar in essence, characterized by inebriation and sedation. mescaline's essence, on the other hand, is solar and characterized by lucidity and stimulation. lsd tends to be the most flexible of the serotonergic psychedelics, truly a product of modern alchemy. this is of course a generalization and you are capable of having any experience imaginable. no two trips are the same, just as no two chemicals are the same. :)

No two trips are the same is especially true in the context of LSD. Literally no two trips are exactly the same. The range of effects LSD can cause is enormous and full of all kinds of awesomeness. Nothing can compare to LSD in this aspect. It is beyond a doubt the best psychedelic I have ever tried. I have only tried mushrooms a few times and they were not exceptionally bad or good. Have not tried mescaline. I have tried a lot of old school research chemical psychedelics though, and they tend to be much more scripted feeling than LSD. Some, like 2c-b, have decent ranges of effect....but they are largely much more similar between two trips  than in the case of LSD. LSD continues to surprise me to this day, and I have taken it hundreds and hundreds of times. Most research chemical psychedelics I have tried were enjoyable as well, I particularly enjoyed 2c-t-2, but after having taken any of these given drugs a few times you really are not going to get anything new out of them. Taking LSD is painting a masterpiece, taking 2c-i or whatever tends to be more like watching a motion picture. Entertaining, you might watch it again a few times, and mostly enjoyable. But not creating a masterpiece with a fresh canvas and new set of paint every time. Of course this is just in general though, I have had awesome +4 experiences on research chemicals, but these experiences imo tend to be exceptional where as with LSD it just always seems to happen :).

first off jagfag I have absolutley no financial interest in research chemicals at all, so sorry for asking a fucking question that also intended to let people know that research chemicals from the 80s and 90s are not nearly as dangerous or trashy as some seem to think they are. Have there ever even been reported ODs from half of them? I think some kids died from 2c-e after sniffing fuck tons of it. no known deaths from 2c-b. A handful of deaths on 2c-t-7. I mean these drugs are not researched, but if you need to get FDA approval on a drug before you feel safe taking it then you really shouldn't be using any illegal drugs without a prescription.
This is not to promote a lack of safety and respect with these drugs, but the thought that there are people out there worried about overdosing on 2c-i taken at a half sensible dose makes me feel like letting people know that their fears are unfounded.

I guess I am just exceptional in having tried 2c-i, 2c-e, 2c-b, 5-meo-amt, 5-meo-dipt, 5-meo-dmt, 2c-t-2, 2c-t-21, 4-aco-mipt and 4-aco-dmt with only having had a bad trip on 4-aco-mipt after recklessly taking way too much of it. The only research chemical I really regret trying is mephedrone, and having come from the RC scene before legals high trash like MDPV, and seeing people writing all research chemicals off as unsafe because of these drugs, I just felt like pointing out peoples fears are largely unfounded.

that said I can see the attitude here is fuck everything that is not LSD or MDMA, so I guess all I can say  is have fun doing whatever the fuck you want sucks that you are close minded to the wide world of psychedelics because of LEGAL COKE and LEGAL WEED and some 15 year old sniffing fifty doses of 2c-e at once and killing himself.

The war on drugs is a FUCKING DISGRACE.
The education system concerning drugs is also fucking dismal. Feeding the children lies so they conform to societies "norms"

Fuck that. I'm tired of the brain washing in society today.

DISGRACEFUL. Both to the government who sets these laws and the people who enforce it. You should all be ashamed.

they should all be executed for crimes against the people

Everything above.

The moisture barrier isn't the issue, it's the odor barrier, as I understand this, so I guess I need to shift to the term "OBBs."
There are lots of odor blocking products - there is a massive industry to keep stink from escaping enclosures.  I don't want to undercut anyone's sales, but, damn, when you know what the materials involved are and what to search for, there are dozens of suppliers available out there with a bare minimum of looking. Foodservice, janitorial, chemical, medical, disaster preparation enthusiasts, etc. There are several completely legit and widespread reasons (eating food, for example) that I can come up with off the top of my head to be buying high-quality preservation products which involve odor barriers.

I'm more interested right now in the tracking labels and the absence of priority stamps at local POs, with the redirects to the automated kiosks.
Coming up routinely at all the post offices we use for work, and random office staff are making comments - we use priority envelopes often with stamps, and the stamp-buying limit stays under petty cash - so it's noticeable.

I asked a smart friend of mine about the difference between odor and moisture vapors. Pretty much the two correlate in that lower of one implies lower of the other as well. I cannot find any metrics for odor gas permeability, but MVTR is a well established for water vapors, and it should correlate with odor as well. This means that using MBB , in and of itself, is superior to using regular vacuum sealing bags.

I don't get it. I keep seeing people saying things like "People only use research chemicals because they cannot get the real thing" etc. I guess their perception of research chemicals might be different from mine, because the RC scene these days has kind of changed to more mimicking drugs (spice to mimic weed, mephedrone to mimic cocaine, etc) and when I was heavily involved in it this was not the case. It sucks to see so many people biased against all drugs that are not mainstream simply because they associate them all with that legal highs trash. They seem to think that only drugs like LSD or MDMA are worth a damn, and to completely disregard the literally thousands of other drugs out there. I mean, I tried a few of the synthetic cannabis type products (in powder form, sometimes sprayed onto plant material) and I can agree that I would not tend to use these if I had marijuana available. But just because I have an unlimited supply of LSD doesn't mean I wouldn't ever want to take 2c-b , or 2c-t-2, or 2c-i or 4-aco-dmt etc.

The more old school research chemicals are pretty fucking awesome actually, and you are really missing out on a wide range of experiences if you don't give them a shot. Another problem with the newer research chemicals is that a lot of them seem to be extremely sketchy in the safety department, and of course they have not been researched at all. The older research chemicals (from Pihkal and Tihkal) have also mostly not been researched, but all but the most obscure of them have been sampled by thousands of people by now, over a lot of years. Some of them are not even really worthy of being called research chemicals anymore, like 2c-b has probably been used by millions of people around the world now and it has been being used for many years. It has a well established safety profile at this point, and is actually probably even safer than MDMA.

The effects of these drugs are not knock off effects of drugs like LSD and MDMA, they are their own unique experiences, not designed to try to mimic other things. I have not found a psychedelic I enjoy more than LSD, but I also immensely enjoyed my 2c-b experiences, my 2c-t-2 experiences, my 5-meo-dmt experiences, etc. There is a full world of psychedelic effects out there and it makes me sad to see people who are biased against these drugs simply because the most recent things being called research chemicals are largely dangerous knock off trash.

It's pretty obvious that people only use RC's because they either can't get the real thing or the real thing is too expensive. If I had a choice between meat and soya I'd chose meat.

Also makes sense that ecstasy is so popular on here. I take both (that and cannabis) but ecstasy can be a lot more harder to buy on the streets whereas everyone sells weed.

This is completely incorrect. Research chemicals are different drugs than mainstream drugs. They are not replacements for them, they are not mimicking them, they are there own damn drugs. It is like saying people only eat chicken because they can't get steak.

Funny I read this just now. A few hours ago I was having a conversation with someone about how stupid it seems to buy the dope baggies on here. That says nothing but "I am getting ready to distribute". Also, I think it is a VERY dumb move to buy "pre-loaded" usb devices for "security". Maybe it is just me, but these things seem like a 1 way ticket to prison/jail. I really do not want to offend any vendor who is legit in offering these things, but security wise, it seems absurd.

Yeah I have called out the preconfigured USB devices in the past but I just figured nobody actually is dumb enough to buy one of them. But from reading the shipping sub forum I can see that several vendors are apparently dumb enough to buy their shipping supplies here. Hm, vendors accessing SR with preconfigured devices they buy on SR, to get orders for drugs from customers (I can only assume over privnote), then putting the drugs in bags they bought off SR , packaging them up and slapping on a tracking sticker they bought off SR. What could possibly go wrong, other than absolute total compromise of everything related to that vendor?

Yeah.. Im sure they could tap the apple servers..
But if they do not know the apple users account name where will they look ?

I dont know the first thing about all this. It just had me thinking.

If I had a different apple user name totally unassociated to me and my mobile phone number and used it to imessage from a separate dedicated device it would make it hard for them to have anywhere to even begin a tap.

That is what traffic analysis is for. They will use traffic analysis to trivially link your IP to apples server , from there they get the username associated with that IP address from apple, from there they intercept communications going through apples server in plaintext.  It is a shitty solution and if you value your security at all you will just immediately stop thinking about using imessage to defeat the feds, lol. Get an XMPP client that supports OTR, run it on an android smart phone routed through Tor, and use OTR to client to client encrypt the messages. That is a solution the feds cannot get around. TLS to apples servers being the end of federal wiretaps is just a bad joke, obviously intentionally planted by the feds to get people thinking they are secure using a totally, entirely, fundamentally insecure solution.

Security / concerning trends in vendor behavior
« on: April 07, 2013, 12:26 pm »
After starting to visit the shipping sub forum a bit more I have become aware of a worrying trend. This trend is vendors buying vendor specific products (tracking stamps, MBB and other shipping supplies) from other vendors. I think that this is extremely worrying from a security perspective. In the case of MBB it is worrying simply because the vendors ordering these supplies are getting them sent to boxes that can of course be put under surveillance. Even if they order the bags from throw away accounts, it wont matter, because only vendors are going to order those and they leak their geolocation anyway so it is simply a matter of matching up the geolocation to the vendors known to operate out of that area. If one of the big MBB vendors turns out to be a fed, or is later compromised, that could lead to the busts of all of the vendors who ordered from them, and it seems that a LOT of vendors are ordering these bags from a select few suppliers selling them on SR. This is extremely worrying to me. Even more worrying is the fact that apparently several vendors are buying tracking stickers from vendors on SR who specialize in selling them. This to me just seems so dumb that anyone could think this is a good idea. Now not only do these tracking sticker vendors get the box information of the vendors they are shipping them to, but they can trivially get the addresses of all customers sent anything with those tracking numbers! This means they can easily send a vendor a hundred tracking stickers, put the box they ship them to under surveillance, identify the vendor, wait for them to send out 100 packs, identify all 100 of the customers addresses, intercept some of the now very easy to locate shipments, find they have drugs in them and raid the vendor. That is just fucking horrible security and I am blown away that any vendors are stupid enough to be doing this! I don't want to point any fingers at anyone, if there is one thing I know it is that a lot of people trying to offer services are not well versed in security , but really to me this full situation just looks like an operation unfolding. They cannot get through our technical security measures so instead they try to get at vendors and customers by tricking vendors into ordering shit from them, in some cases ordering shit from them that allows them to enumerate their entire client bases addresses and locate their packages at will! Now is this certainly happening? No, but it sure as fuck could be, and that is extremely concerning.

Dude this will cause a damn flame war. The spam is bad enough, do we need racist spam.

This is like two little kids play fighting then one hits a little too hard and the other one hits back harder, and it turns into a fight.

Intelligence is not correlated to race. It is a combination of genetic predisposition and upbringing. Nature and Nurture.
