Why can't you make the new CA ID? Most people here are expecting to see the new ID whenever you go the liquor store, especially when you look on the younger side of your twenties.

Hi John,
the new style California's have security features that are not likely to be reproduced well, just look at some of the reviews for KingOfClubs who offers it, it's extremely difficult to do the raised letter/engraving, new style holograms, etc.
I don't offer it because I do not offer poorly replicated IDs. As a rule of thumb anyone offering 10-15 states that are known to be hard is most likely offering a sub-par product.
As long as the ID scans, has the security features I see no issue why they should question you having it. The only limiting factor to these IDs is the issue date can be no later than 2010 and can expire no later than 2015.
Better to have the older style done well, than a sub par ID, no?
