Title: 4/20?
Post by: goblin on April 21, 2013, 12:11 am
Hey y'all, maybe I've been living under a rock, or made one too many visits to the local pub. But is there any significance I don't see in the 4/20 date?

I mean cause of the huge sale last year, and the fact that so many people keep mentioning 4/20, 4/20. What gives?

There was no real significance this year on SR.

Oh so that's it. MJ.

Seems like grass takes precedence over all other drugs. Kinda cliquish I say.

I propose some new ones: 5/29/55, the date of R. Gordon Wasson's first mushroom trip. (The onslaught of the mushrooms!)

And who can forget bicycle day, 4/19/43, Albert Hofmann's first intentional acid journey and bicycle ride home.

So that's 529, and 419. Feel free to add your owns.

I like the date thing better.  4/20  the 20th of April is a time to start planting.

Didnt know about 420  ?      Apparently related to the time 4:20 after school meetup time for joints.

Supposedly it was a term used by a group of stoners in southern cali. They would say hey want to go 420? Which mean meet up at 4:20pm after school and smoke up. who knows if its true but thats the legend.
