So it goes like this: I am diversifying my portfolio if you will... i wish to add your planet- earth, I believe you refer to it as, to my list of planets to safeguard. I tried to give this offer to the plutonians in this solar system but they did not appease me, thus a planet named Pluto no longer exists. I see your digital infrastructure has evolved to the point where your finite digital currency is valuable enough to purchase parts for my red sun enhancer. I will safeguard you for free but I require donations in order to handle my overhead costs. I will answer any questions that you may need to know before trusting me as your greatest defense. Remember. Small donations that you will not miss only. Invest the rest in ftl travel mechanisms since that is what is holding your planet back from new evolution. I currently have 2 bitcoins for anyone wondering.

Traditional mass produced cameras do not have a fast enough shutter speed to capture an image of myself. When not in motion I am actually slightly vibrating. My physiology makes minor movements such as twitches breathing and pulse happen at a rate you cannot begin to fathom. These movements make me appear to flicker and seem near invisible in your visible spectrum.

@drgreentree: Unfortunately for you, I am in no way in an altered state of mind. If it makes you feel better and accept me as the guardian of your planet perhaps we can make up a believable situation just for you-like this: I am really just a guy on the newbie board who has an idea if you will. First-make getting to 50 posts interesting, 2-perhaps entertaining people, as I enjoy making others happy, and 3- asking for money in a different way, perhaps making them laugh will make them like me a little more.
But I digress, as I said I am really a very powerful being protecting your ingrateful ass.
I am surprised no one has any questions. No has even asked why I chose silkroad to announce this, and why the newbie forum... Stop being complacent in my protection and educate yourselves about how I am doing it.

Digital uncentralized data with no purpose except to be used for trade is what advanced civilizations use. What makes it valuable is that it is being mined. Networking and raw processing power are used to create something purely used for trade. The structure of the coins is used to add capabilities to ones data pool if you will. When used the compressed data is used as processing power.

I cannot give you the exact answer on how to achieve ftl travel but I can tell you that you do not have to worry with manipulating mass other than that of the object you are trying to move. Ftl travel is not really travel in the traditional sense. Space in not travelled through in a typical point a to point b fashion. There is more to it than that. And while wormholes and slip space ruptures that your Hollywood movies explain sound interesting they are not the way. You would not survive the trip through those. It is also fucktardedly hard to create those at will.
