Title: How not to get caught?
Post by: Timfin on February 26, 2013, 03:06 pm
Hi I am a prospective vendor and I ask if someone can point me to a thread where all the precautions of selling are discussed. Thanks!

I am not a vendor, and I am still a newbie myself, but I do know there's an official guide for sellers, just google "Silk Road Seller's Guide" ... you don't even need to use TOR to be able to view it. hope this helps

If you have to ask you're probably not ready, spend a few months doing research

***** alert

Many new vendors get 'attacked' by friends from other vendors.   They make orders and ask for refunds, cause problems, pretend no shows, -  all to discourage new vendors and keep customers scared to use the new vendor.

It's called mafia ism.   It's bullshit.

Do you have evidence of this? It sounds plausible but it's rare to find anyone showing actual proof of things like this. Please share!

The operative word here is  "prospective" Sounds like this person is doing their Due Diligence and looking to become educated.....nothin' wrong with that.
INFORMATION is KNOWLEDGE........KNOWLEDGE is POWER!!

Thanks for the replies. I am no dummy noob when it comes to clandestine operations. I of course would like to read what advice is out there.

As a relatively new vendor I can say this is true. I won't name and names or point any fingers, but lame shit did happen when I started out. Karma is taking care of it right now anyways.

I appreciate the work that drug dealers and vendors do but I'd imagine it would be very difficult to make a lot of money doing it without having at least some chance of getting caught.  It can't be an easy job either.  Probably best to put your efforts into legal work.  At least in the US the penalty for "trafficking" drugs is extreme and then when you get out 20 years later you're blacklisted by society.

Unless you have a good business plan and idea on how you will execute it it's probably worth holding off.  Also figure out what your real profit would be and give a serious thought whether it's really worth the risk...

Be safe!

Hey !

Just wanted to point out that when you get vendor status you also get to access the vendor section of the forum, right ?

I would think there would be some good advices out there even though I obviously never could have checked it out :)

Maybe just pay the vendor fee, keep browsing the forum for a while and come back when all seems ready.

I'm pretty sure the vendor forum is for established vendors.
