A weird thing here - you eventually get to know and like a few people. Human nature being what it is you think it'd be cool to get together some time.
Then I remember. Oh yeah this whole thing is illegal, we're not allowed to have friends IRL (in real life).
Just wondering if anyone has crossed that line. Not asking you to do so! Not asking for names! Just seems like it's bound to happen.

I've met other people that use SR. Never asked their user names tho, dont want to know.

I +1'd you, because I've seen a lot of your posts, Evanescence, and it bugs the life of me how your minuses outweigh your pluses.

We could only hope so... Im afraid its like ALL groups of people, theres bad eggs everywhere.

There are customers that make you think to yourself "I wish I had a legit store and they were customers I knew personally" but yes that can't happen even though you would like it to in an ideal world.

Perhaps some sort of large music festival, limited only to SR users and the products sold here. How this could be organized, where it would be, what we would all do, etc, I have no idea but it would be epic, to say the absolute least.
Just some food for thought :)

Personally I plan on starting a revolution in a few years and plan on staging my coup of western civilization here on the SR forums. I figure we can all arm ourselves, setup dates, times and locations for coordinated attacks and then all get together after for a big party at the White House or Parliament.

Honestly, would this even be far fetched? A while back, I brought up the idea of building a government founded on drugs, and was astonished by the large amount of positive reception. DPR is going to attend the Bitcoin conference, why couldn't we attend an SR conference?

What if the person you meet up with gets busted a few months later and rolls over on you? linking yourself IRL to your SR activities is a BAD BAD BAD idea.

Crap, didn't DPR shut down The Armory though? I guess I'll just have to go with what I already own..
Side note, did anyone ever check out The Anarchist's Cookbook back in the day just for the fun of it? I never tried a lot of the serious explosives and whatnot in there (I also heard there was intentional misinformation in a lot of the digital versions of it) but I always got a kick out of reading it and letting the ideas run rampant in my young mind ;D

An SR party would be awesome. There are several vendors who I would LOVE to thank in person for their incredible services. Maybe when drugs are legalized we can all get together and smoke...

Since nobody seems to be all that worried about that whole space jurisdiction thing anymore, what about a Spaceship Masquerade Party! I'm preeeeeeeeetty sure DPR could afford to throw this party.

DPR could buy build a seastead like Blueseed-Venture and build up a own micro-state which everybody can use to make a party far away from all jurisdiction :-D
Should be in use all the year if I see how many people are here and will be here in future^^

well, I made it even for you. but also cuz i like this post and reading the whole thread. maybe there will be a day we can all safely meet but until then "What's a bitcoin? What's Tor? And isn't the Silk Road long gone because we have modern technology giving us much more efficiency in transporting goods?"

One of my friends told me about the SR, I got it up and running, and now we both frequently shop here, and I think use the forums too. Other than him though, I've met no one else who makes use of this wonderful site!

I've met kids at Festivals that use this site- however didn't ask their screennames as it doesn't matter. I can think of like 3 or so people I'd love to party with or go on an excellent adventure. We need to have a cruise- international waters fuck fest

Iv met so many people who use SR it's ridiculous. I just attract SR members. Completly randomly. I have never told anyone on here that I met in real life my username though as if they ever wanted to snitch they could describe how I look with my username, no good.
There is a certain women vendor on here who I met and have become good friends with. That was one of the luckiest things for me because now with our friendship she hooks me up with pounds of A+ for cheaper than you could imagine.

Attracting SR members isn't the same thing as attracting customers. Also I irl I see fellow SR members as a liability as if they are ordering they are playing with being busted and so could be a liability
