Title: question regarding visiting clearnet sites through tor
Post by: iLegalBusinessConsultant on February 12, 2013, 07:04 pm
I want to create an account on localbitcoins.com and a wallet at blockchain.info and download truecrypt and download GNuPGP (hopefully these are all the steps required to use SR anonymously??)

My question is, if I access all those clearnet sites via regular ISP, then my ISP could log me as having accessed those sites. Now I know that's probably not a big deal, but in order to not leave any trace of my presence on those sites, is it recommended that I access those clearnet sites through Tor AND use a TORmail account (or multiple TORmail accounts) to sign up for those services? Or will these sites automatically flag my accounts if I use TOR to access them and a tormail account, like MtGox does if you access them via Tor.

Thanks in advance for any info. I'm new to SR and find you guys are great in helping people learn how to use this properly.

Nothing illegal about buying bitcoins.

You could just go to McDonalds or whereever they have free wifi and do your business and leave....
Its what I do.
