greetings my little ones.
Before I send funds to my SR account, I always change the bitcoin address.
I've done this around 30 times since I joined SR.
I wonder if someone sends funds to an old bitcoin addresss, will it appear in my SR account?
cheers.

*EDITED*
I was wrong and do not want to perpetuate misinformation!

The way SR is designed, old addresses should indeed be able to fund an account. In practice, however, it's probably a better idea to send coins only to the most recent address generated, as problems with deposits and withdrawals occur even under the most straightforward looking circumstances.

DPR a she? Didn't know that.
So what happens if someone accidentally sends funds to a very old bitcoin address?
Is it lost forever?
How to rescue it?

I can honestly say I have never tried it. Fivesigma appears to know what they are talking about. I still would not want to try it.
and oh yeah. SPR is a girl ;)

A wallet is a collection of addresses, all old addresses are part of your wallet and are only "retired" for security purposes.
There are sometimes errors with previous addresses, but if you are missing a deposit after 24-36 hours and it's in the block chain just message support with the amount, time, and destination address.
