Very nice to hear some thoughts about this. I too have questioned the college route in the past. I am glad that I did only to get that stupid diploma. Do I remember anything from college? Yes about 10% of it lol. I look back now and I have learned more from life than school ever taught me. Anyway I agree this thread has gone very off topic. Second off.. there are quite a few vendors that offer bulk in escrow. Again.. search around. The main public bulk vendor for dank weed is sourdieselman.. I've seen plenty of NEW users order off of him in escrow so don't give me that I'm a new user bullshit. Work your way up and buy small until you get the necessary stats to order big if you don't want to order from SDM. We all had to endeavor the climb to legendary stats

JoR that's a very mature and excellent answer. FWIW even if your liquid is only around 85% it' still one of the best price / quality ratios that have ever been offered on SR and people are right to be pleased and grateful to have access to it. Given the current state of the international market, it would be ridiculous for anyone to expect 90+ pure acid for that kind of price and they sure as hell won't find it on SR. And indeed it is true that many people wouldn't be able to tell the difference, and for them there's no question that yours is the best deal going.
Shaitan I never said I could tell 1000 ug from 1100 ug. I said I could tell 80% pure acid from 90% pure acid. Those are completely different concepts and different issues.
The fact that you can't distinguish between them even in the abstract fact simply confirms what I've been saying all along and what you yourself have already confirmed - you can't tell pure acid from impure, and you only respond to how hard a particular batch makes you trip. That's fine. Good luck to you. It means as long as you can get cheap acid in large quantities, you will always be happy. That's great. But it doesn't qualify you to make public pronouncements about acid quality. It's like someone admitting they can't tell the different between vintage wine and cheap cooking wine and yet still claiming to be the world's greatest wine critic while screaming at everybody that there is no difference anyway.
And you still haven't answered the question - if you can't tell good acid from bad, then on according to what criteria do you say that JoR's was the best?
The fact that when someone just asks for a little clarification, some of you guys just start jumping up and down and crying about 'negativity', just goes to show what a pathetic dreamworld some of you are living in (and yes, that IS a very negative thing to say - but it is nowhere close to the level of angry bile which Shaitain has thrown my way, almost without provocation). You convince yourself that you are getting world class acid and then when even the vendor admits that may not necessarily be the case, you just start yelling at the person who raised the issue instead of thinking about the implications.

While some of your points are valid, I don't believe a single one of us are in a position to qualitatively state the purity of any crystal and attempting to compare them is typically unwise, especially when comparing it to experiences 30-40 years ago. Body chemistry changes significantly as you age and this could call for the differences in subjective effects. My feelings regarding LSD these days is that the majority of it being produced is quite high, but this is purely speculative based on the assumption that with the rise of chemistry knowledge and equipment also comes the rise in chemists with finesse.
What I can say definitively is that nearly every single blotter I have tried here on SR to be of excellent quality and to provide me with a wonderful trip. On that note, I will also say that you can tell a large difference between the effects between the Canadian and Euro Lucy; the Canucks seem to be producing LSD that offers trips with much more love, whereas the Euro LSD seems to provide a much more visual journey. What is the purity difference? To me, it doesn't matter. What matters is having a profound spiritual journey that jostles your existence and questions reality. What matters is that I get to experience LSD. We are all so very lucky (and rather spoiled) that we have access to our precious love chemical. Let's not squander this chance to spread the love.
Unless you readily have access to a GC/MS, then please, test the LSD you find and share your results. It would be incredibly valuable. But until our society starts further promoting harm reduction regarding recreational drugs, access to such machines is very limited.
By the way, your analogy regarding telling the difference between expensive wine and cheap wine isn't exactly sound. Most blind taste testings of wine are a 50/50 tossup whether or not they are able to distinguish. Everything is subjective.
Man Animus, your spot fucking on..as always dude, & yes, the Canadian L is exactly like that, seems to be more euphoric as well, for me anyway. The Euro L is like ultra visual, usually has more of a body load, but the visuals are fucking remarkable. I think its safe for me to say that JCs Avatars have given me the most intense visuals to date!

As when it comes to pricing of the SR opium market, i am not agreeing with it. I have been handling large amounts of opium, from various places, both asian, and persian. And the prices here are to much for me. I locally seldom pay more than 20€/g when buying small amounts, and as soon as the amounts are more than 25 gram or so, the prices should drop. And anyone that likes the opium, will buy larger amounts, as a 1 gram, or such, will only last a an appetizer, or to try the product out.
I agree with Dr. Kim, it seems like there's price fixing or something going on cause it's ridiculously expensive just to buy one gram of opium (from any vendor) especially with bitcoins at ~ $30 now... just saying.
But, then again, I guess if people are willing to pay this exorbitant price, there is really no incentive for sellers to lower it
