After several long weeks gathering levels of interest here in the Silk Road forums, and planning my listing strategy... it's finally here.

There are definitely a few vendors who could use your service. Many come to mind. Some profiles are so long winded that it's no wonder their customers can't grasp the simple concepts of placing an order correctly. It's all a jumbled mess! Good luck! plur

Anonypunk: I agree. But I think people don't realise that poorly-written/structured content DOES lose sales. People have to know what you're selling, and they have to be told why they should buy it from you and not the shop next door... and when it comes to longblocksoftextthatdon'tseemtopauseforbreath... I for one will not buy from a messy shop unless it really is the only shop for miles!

Of course, I wasn't storming in expecting all vendors here to match real world businesses... so I'm not disappointed :-)

I thought this sounded like a stupid idea, but then when I thought about it there are a lot of vendors with very poor writing skills and sometimes when I can see someone can't even write properly it really does put me off trusting them with giving them personal details and wondering if they have what it takes to send a parcel professionally.
However you will make stupid people seem smarter than they are, but at least if they got the brains to use you that does make them a little smarter.

Not questioning the need but I have to agree with Fried Rice, you can tell a lot about a vendor by their vendor page, typos, poor grammar (yes I said it), no pgp and a whole range of other traits are enough for me to give some vendors a very wide berth and it has served me well over this past year.
Obscure that you take away one of the most fundamental screening processes for buyer when selecting vendors. Can you please charge exorbitant rates for obvious retards and LE magnets? that should still screen them all out. ;)

Really though, this sort of service isn't targeted at vendors who have problems with their grammar and spelling, it's more the vendors who want to get the competitive advantage - most of my real world clients are already able to communicate fairly well, they just don't know how to make their products 'speak' to their target audience (or how to explain it clearly).
I do find in the real world that the truly dumb vendors don't tend to have the intelligence to understand the value of such a service either, and that its those who try haggling on price that end up causing the most problems, so I do hope that the prices I've set will allow me to separate the boys from the men so to speak.
I do not want to help penis jockeys pull the wool over buyers' eyes, and will do everything in my power to screen those using my services before providing them with any help :-)

I've just created a new bulk listing, for vendors with more than 5 product listings.
(You can see it here: http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad/item/1931bbc7ba).
Even though I already have a couple of orders under my belt with positive feedback, I'm still considering offering this big listing free for perhaps 2 reputable vendors willing to review my work both on the forums and on SR - not fully decided yet (the listing is for 1 vendor profile and 5 product listings, and the price of 1.5btc reflects how much time goes into this), but if any serious vendor is interested, let me know in case I do decide to dish a couple out.
(Naturally, you wouldn't be obliged to use the output on your profile if you didn't want to - but in theory, you'd want to!)
