Hello all.
I am a sales and marketing writer in the real world - you know, sales letters, website content, product descriptions etc.
I do NOT have a vendor's account yet, so this is not an advert for a service I am currently providing - I'm simply trying to check market demand for a certain service-based listing in the marketplace.
I conducted this poll in the newbie forum and it got quite a lot of response, so it would be great to hear the seasoned community's thoughts.
Here are services I am considering listing on SR once I've got my bond together:
- Product listing rewrites
- Vendor page rewrites
- Help with forum posts
- Non-SR related writing
I would really love to hear your opinions as well as just your votes, so please do post comments below :-)

I think it would be nice to hear what you would charge per product page and profile page. For example, if you say .25 BTC per page then less people would get than if you declare an intent to charge .01 per page.
I voted possibly, because honestly, it will depend on the price.
Also it would be nice to see samples of your work (not real life samples obviously) take a made up strain of cannabis, let's call it Derka Purpah Sunrise Buds, and write some copy for this strain to show us what you got.
Just some thoughts...don't mind me...

Cool! Thanks! Another thing, if I may suggest. Offer to do copy for free for a couple of vendors on the condition of giving you reviews on the forum. Would be nice to see "Incubusdriver hooked it up! After he/she redid our product x page sales increased 10%" or "Incubusdriver rewrote my profile, now I don't sell shit"
haha, obviously the first type of review would be ideal but either way, it would be an excellent validator especially if you would be offering it up at a .3/.4 BTC price point.

RealDeal, cool.
Well I've decided I *will* become a vendor, but that it will be a while yet, as I need to organise the bond (BitCoins don't grow on trees you know!).
Once I'm listed, I'll probably be charging in the region of 0.3-0.5 per page, and although this would be less than my 'real life' per-page rate, I don't mind because I get the feeling BitCoins are probably going to continue increasing in value.
But having said that, if anybody hypothetically wanted to contact me before I managed to get my bond together, I'm sure I could arrange a discount, as it would help me get my bond together faster ;-)

We tend to keep it as simple as it gets: state a product and it's characteristics and that's about it.
We tend to do business and don't need to write a book ;)
What we think is important is to have a uniform method of posting/making pictures/images.

That's cool, glad you've got a technique that works for you.
Just like in the real world, I imagine there are businesses here who will carve out their own strategies, businesses who would enlist help developing their strategies if they knew that help was available, and even businesses who carve out their own strategies but would enlist help executing that strategy if available.
