Hello :
This will be my first order on silk road. I bought bit coins one week ago from localbitcoins. I sent them to my Silk Road wallet. I logged on today and the weed went up in price :(. Would any one be Generous enough to lend me 0.2750 BTC and i could repay Monday morning. I would love to get this Lemon Skunk.

That's a lot of faith for a black market consumer.

Damn... $30 for a stranger on the internet. Have a karma point! I could never pull myself to loan a stranger money for drugs.
I am really hoping this works out how it's supposed to for EVERYONE in the end. That would be a beautiful thing. Please pay this lady back BartSimpson. She has gone above and beyond for you. You are a very lucky person to have run into Anastatia. ;)

+1 Karma for you, Anastasia, my Dear. Quite the generous gesture... I would have never done it, so bully for you!
No problem. Mine were just sitting there in my account leftover from a purchase, and too little to do anything with anyway!
Apparently you are unfamiliar with Alakazam Alpazolam's Xanax blotters. He offers 40 blotter (20mg of Xanax) for a mere $20 post-paid US domestic. It's the very thing I usually spend my leftover Coin on.

Well, karma hasn't come back to me... yet. No repayment yet, but I know there are many things that can delay a Bitcoin purchase. But now there's an order that I need to place today, and as luck would have it, I'm .0005 short!! What a bitch.
I think I have that amount in my wallet, I can send it to you if you still need it :)
-
Wow, That's a lot of trust. Hope it works out for you.
-
I guess I did it for three reasons. 1.) I had just over .3 BTC left and no plans for it; 2.) I had just received an order I placed on Wednesday, after only two days, and was ecstatic; and 3.) I remember what it feels like to either wait for your dealer to call you back, or to be just a little short. Gone are those days, thanks to SR!!!
I think I could fall in love with you. +1 for now.

I needed a short amount of btc some time ago ( 1.5 years i think ) .
People helped me instantly and i payed them back when i told them i would but also i got scammed 2 times for my blind trusting :( but you know that " that goes around comes around"
Be safe guys.
Much love

Please tell me Bart Simpson paid you back by now Anastasia!

This whole thread (depending on the outcome) will either renew my faith in humanity, or confirm that you always need to assume people are only thinking of themselves.
I salute you, Anastasia, for taking the leap of faith. You are one of life's true altruists, and you deserve only good things to happen to you. :D
Peace.

Well, I did receive a message from BartSimpson a few weeks ago, explaining that he was still waiting for his Bitcoin. A week later I sent him a message asking if he had gotten it yet, and I just checked for a response today. That message went unread for 14 days. I sent him another one today, asking if I should assume I won't get my money back. I don't really expect an answer, if he hasn't read my other message in two weeks. What does it mean that the word "guest" now appears under his forum name? I'm pretty sure that when he posted this question, he had some posting statistics! Oh well. I never lend money that I truly need back.
Even if you never received your BTC back, you have gained shit-loads of kudos amongst your fellow humans. It's a kind, generous soul that does what you did, and you set an example for humanity (though your experience has taught me to never emulate it)
It's a crying shame that there are people out there who are willing to exploit people's humanity. These people may think they are winning, and maybe short-term they are, but their misdemeanors will catch up with them sooner or later.
You have my ultimate respect, because you went out on a limb for a fellow human.

:(
I, for one, treat all unprotected exchanges with strangers (usually IRL) as a calculated risk and it seems that you do as well. The occasional rip-off doesn't subtract too much from all those times of increased all-round happiness. I'm not sure that I would have risked quite that much myself, though, but I (despite my near £500 spree over my first spending weekend) am unemployed and trying to remember that these coins are real money :)
I hope that Bart Simpson remembers what he did to you (and, I expect, to others in different places) when his/her actions return to bite hir.
