Title: is possible?
Post by: llok on April 23, 2013, 06:39 am
Total transactions: 12
Total spent: $344.96
Refund rate: 8.78%
Auto-finalize rate: 0%
Member for: 2 months

I would like to reset my refund rate because I returned the refund to the seller
as you can see by my comments and account history and also asking the vendor
at first I asked a 50% return, but then after a considerable delay the letter arrived and I contacted the vendor for return the refund
I would do justice to my purchasing statistics, is possible?

Hi llok,

Resetting the refund and auto-finalise rates is possible, but only in very exceptional circumstances (such as when Silk Road is down for an extended period of time). In such cases where time limits and deadlines for resolution and finalisation are missed through no fault of the users due to Silk Road being down for a number of days, a Silk Road Administrator can reset the buyer's purchasing stats.

However, returning the refund to the vendor because the product eventually arrived would not be considered an exceptional circumstance; you agreed to a 50% refund resolution instead of agreeing to extend the resolution period by X amount of days and waiting for your order to arrive.
Returning the refund to the vendor was an honourable thing to do, but again, it is not an exceptional circumstance so your purchasing stats will not be edited in this case.

Your refund rate will drop as you make more purchases and if it causes a problem with any vendor in future you should simply explain the situation to them, and ask the vendor that you refunded to contact the new vendor to explain that he/she received a refund if he/she is willing to do so.
