Hello, I placed an order 5 days ago and it's still in 'Processing'. If I cancel the order (using the cancel button) does it affect my stats negatively?

Hi hubbabubba,
A vendor has a minimum of 4 days in which to process your order; you can cancel after this period without any effect on your stats at all. Similarly, if a vendor cancels your purchase before it is marked 'in transit', your Bitcoin will simply be refunded, and again, no effect on your stats.
If the item is still in processing it is generally good etiquette to message the vendor and give them 24 - 48 hours to respond as many vendors don't change the item's status until they've actually dropped it off in a mailbox to be sent out.
Who is the vendor, if you don't mind my asking? Feel free to PM me the name if you don't feel comfortable saying it publicly on the forum.

Hi graham, thanks very much for replying. I did contact the vendor prior to making this thread as I just wanted to know my options. The vendor, who has a very high %, was very cool about it and cancelled for me thus keeping my stats 100%. Was just the time of year and being overloaded with orders. Mixed blessings! All's well that ends well :)

Like previously stated. A vendor has 4 days to mark the item in transit. If he doesn't in that time frame, you may cancel it with no harm done to your stats. The vendor may cancel the order before he marks it in transit as well, but if he cancels after its marked in transit, the buyer can leave feedback.
