Title: VENDOR FORUMS ACCESS
Post by: TheMajor on December 12, 2012, 07:34 pm
Can someone point me in the direction of who I need to contact to gain access to the vendors forums?  I know that this a questions that has been asked and answered before,  but I have been searching for over an hour and can not find the answer.  I did read through the Wiki,  the FAQ's,  and the Vendor's Guide with no success.  I have also PM'ed inigo (MOD) asking him a few days ago,  but never heard back.  Any help would be appreciated.

In order to gain access to the Vendor Roundtable you need to have made 35+ illicit transactions on Silk Road, have been selling for 1 month+, and link your vendor account to your forum account by placing your link in your signature.
You must then message a forum Administrator (inigo or Flush), and apply for access. There is no guarantee that you will be admitted; it is entirely up to the Administrator.

(Putting that here for future vendors looking for access)

You meet the above requirements, and you've messaged inigo. It would seem that you now have to play the waiting game. Wait 2 more days, then send another message - it's possible that your message may have been overlooked.

Yeah i think the bar has been raised from 35 transactions. I'm not sure exactly, best off messaging inigo or flush for an answer.

AFAIK you would need to have conducted 55+ illicit transactions within the last 2 months (+/- one per day) and have a link to your SR account in your signature.

There does seem to be a lot of confusion about this; my original information was 55+ illicit transactions as that was what the discussions were based around. DigitalAlch then confirmed - back in June / July, 2012 - that it was in fact 35+ illicit transactions. Would it be possible for one or both of you, as vendors, to message Flush and post back here? I'm not sure whether he/she would be willing to discuss Round Table access requirements with a non-vendor.  :-X

EDIT: A conversation we had about it in mid-December, 2012:

Is there a way that customers can know which vendors are part of the Roundtable so we can stick to proven vendors?

A vendors access to the roundtable doesn't imply they are automatically proven top shot vendors. There is most likely LE hanging around there claiming their 35 or 55 illicit transactions through fake feedback.

Any forum member with the SR Vendor tag under their username has access to the Vendor Rountable,  but as already stated just having access to the roundtable does not make a vendor any better or more reliable than a vendor without access.
