Title: TorWallet not sending funds?
Post by: burnmanytrees on December 01, 2012, 06:27 pm
For a little extra security, I sent bitcoins from my legit account to TorWallet where i planned to send them to SR, but when i try to transfer it just says: "Hot wallet exhausted. Please wait while we move coins in from our offline wallet.". What does this mean, and does anyone else here use TorWallet?

Yeah I was caught in that scam. One wonders why they allow it to operate. Perhaps they have no control. Although I heard they stoped selling weaponry.  So I guess its possible. WB

Sorry that the TorWallet scammers got you. I wish these guys would stop creating wallets that steal all of the coin that you send. I have had 2 different wallets that kept my money.

Folks you need to perform your due diligence before sending your currency to anonymous entities over the internet. Not doing so is similar to walking up to a guy on the street, giving him a handful of cash and asking him to go around the corner for a couple of minutes and bring it back to you.  ???

Yeah I was caught in that scam. One wonders why they allow it to operate. Perhaps they have no control. Although I heard they stoped selling weaponry.  So I guess its possible. WB

One wonders why whom allows TorWallet to operate?! TorWallet exists on the the TOR network; whom, exactly, do you suggest should 'police' TOR?!
Also, TorWallet didn't sell weaponry, they simply provided an internet based Bitcoin wallet on TOR, initially legitimately, then decided to pull a scam as they were completely untraceable due to the nature of TOR; I don't think even YOU have any idea what you're talking about.  :-\
