Title: Buyer's Account History
Post by: cuco on October 14, 2012, 12:04 am
It would be nice if we could see our purchasing history by transaction for a longer period of time. I recently looked for a transaction in mid September and could not see it. You only have access to an abbreviated period of time. You need to look into "feedback" but that does not provide ample details.

understand in some ways it would be helpful, but its for your own security though. risk outweighs benefits imo

If you feel the need to keep transaction details, mail them to yourself on SR then delete them when they are no longer needed. The only reason that I can see for needing the details of a transaction though is if a buyer Finalises Early, the product doesn't arrive and the vendor requests the transaction information before issuing a refund or re-send.

Wouldn't work, actually. The system also purges messages, after two months. (I like this, personally.)

Course it works Blargh. It's the system I use myself, so I speak from experience.  :P The message sits there for 2 months and if your situation is as yet unresolved (which it should be by that stage) you just forward it to yourself again! Definitely agree with the auto-deletion of messages though, it's a very good feature should your account be compromised.  :)

Fair point, I didn't think about the re-sending it to yourself before it gets purged. Derp on me. :)

One thing that would help on the vendor reviews is to not take all 5 slots of history with "FE".

Would like to at least see 5 real comments from customers.
