Title: Can Vendors look up old Transactions?
Post by: CrazyBart on September 29, 2012, 10:34 pm
I noticed that as a buyer the history of my transaction is cleared from my account history within two weeks. Is this the same for vendors? Can they look up a transaction a little over a month old?

A few people have reported this as well. I went down from 80 transactions to 16.

We're hoping its a glitch but tbh I'm disappointed if this is a proper implementation. After spending months on here and contributing it doesn't seem right that I would have to start FEing again despite proving myself as a trustworthy buyer, simply because I haven't been active recently. Those previous transactions still prove that you have completed them without error or trying to scam, even if they did happen a couple months ago. They should remain on the account indefinitely.

We'll have to wait for the admins to show up though but this doesn't seem like a common sense thing, I'm guessing its just a bug.

Hi CrazyBart,

Once the transaction has been Finalized and it has been more than 14 days then no, the vendor won't have the records of that transaction. You should mail the details of any transaction to yourself so as you have a record of them. Messages in your SR inbox are automatically deleted after 30 days so if you still need the transaction details after this period, mail them to yourself again. If the issue has been sorted in the meantime, delete the message immediately. If you need the details in order to sort out a re-ship with a vendor or something along those lines, SR Admins can bring up details of the transaction if you give them the date and approximate time you ordered, the vendor you ordered from, and the amount of Bitcoin that the order cost.

A few people have reported this as well. I went down from 80 transactions to 16.

I think you took the OP up wrong on this Kapp - as far as I know the stats dropping issue was a glitch and most members are now reporting that it has been fixed.

This is also worrying me slightly. Recently I noticed my feedback for drugs purchased in the past have disappeared. It's only showing my recent purchases over the past few months and it's only listing 4 different purchases.

I had about 11 or 12 if memory serves me correctly. It took me a good 6-7 months to build up the feedback I had and now most of it has disappeared. Does this mean I'm going to have to go back to finalising early again?

If so that's a little bit shitty :(

I think stats reset after a certain amount of time so that the profile of you is recent. Same thing happens to vendors, only the last 3 months (I think) of feedback counts towards their scores.

There's a lot of confusion about this; in my own experience my past year of stats are included on my profile, having been a member for a year so no reset there.
The disappearing feedback issue has been sorted out by the Admins as far as I know.
