First time user. Want to make my first purchase on SR, I have purchased bitcoins in my MT.GOX account, how do I transfer them into my SR account?

-Press the account link in SR to get your bitcoin address. copy it.
-Open mnt.gox, log in and press on the "funding" tab on the left.
-In the new screen press on the "withdraw" , middle one on the top. Paste your SR address in the appropiate box and fill in the amount you want to deposit.
-After making the transaction it will still take quite some time before your funds show up in your SR account. Your coins are being tumbled for all our savety, this can take up to 2 hours.

i have been hearing lots of bad things about Mt gox and dwolla. Why support tools of the system when there are other alternatives, safer and not best buds with LE. Best to you, i also am struggling with learning GPG and no one will help and i have 14 btcs i fe'd to trusted vendor cuz im new and he has not contacted me back in 9 days. beginning to think vendor reviews are gamed. he should have been willing to accept half, my advice if ur new and vendor says u have to FE due to being a newbie , perhaps just doing half would be a good compromise. As of now im out 170$ and i am cancer patient with shitty doctors that care more about their DEA rep than being a real doctor and helping suffering dying ppl. This world is fucked. I will make it better here cuz I AM GOOD FOR MY WORD and only want same from those i deal with. Thx to those in solidarity with freedom and compassion

Transferring Bitcoin directly from Mt.Gox to SR presents quite a large security flaw. Read Pine's tutorial on obtaining Bitcoin anonymously:

You should also note that accessing your Mt.Gox account through TOR will cause them to lock your account down and demand identity verification in order to release your funds. This is part of their AML / KYC policy.
