As far as getting bitcoins, you may have to do a couple of exchanges if there aren't any echangers that deal with you tokens or chips or whatever you call your money (I really am not trying to be rude with that, but I don't know what your currency is called.) you might have to do cash to euro (unless the irish use euros) euros to pecunix or LR, then LR to bitcoin. but is mtgox accepts the money used in Ireland, and I don't see why they wouldn't, just get your funds to them via bank wire or whatever options they have now, and buy your coins there, then transfer them to your personal wallet, then to instawallet, then to a gambling site, back to instawallet, then to bitfog, then into SR.
you can probably skip at least 3 of those steps as instawallet mixes automatically. and you might have Irish options at mtgox or wmcenter.
I guess I am trying to say is that I don't have any help directly, but I am bored and like to listen to myself type sometimes. search the forum with they cryptic box on the top right of the screen and see if the oracle is more helpful than I am.

what the fuck are you talking about.your after fukin confusin me more now u lunatic.see how stoned u are well thats how stoned i wana be.u and ur chips and tokens.u can of piss

I really wasn't trying to be rude, it just happens sometimes beyond my control. whay currency is used in Ireland, because I really don't know. then I might be able to offer some non-asshole assistance.

oh, and BTW, I'm not stoned right now, just off my meds all day today ready for a tripping weekend! this is just how my mind works when I skip a dose or 2

Ireland is in europe, So we use euro!
@marleyandme Getting bitcoin is always confusing.
If you don't want to use exchange site try and find a local trader here: (clearnet) localbitcoins.com (clearnet)
They deal just cash in hand for bitcoin, There is not many traders in ireland be you might lucky and there could be one near you.
If not you could ask a trader there if he will take cash in the post, Be careful doing that cause you can get riped easily.
Also it's not a good idea to get bitcoin by sending money to exchage sites via bank transfer, That way it can be tracked back to you.

Apologies marleyandme, I haven't yet had a chance to write back to your PM. I wanted to give you as much info as possible in as clear a manner as possible.
I'll write up a guide for Irish users and post it in a new thread either this evening or tomorrow when I'm not swamped with work, and I'll link to that thread in here when it's up so you can find it.
