Title: How does a seller know your buying history?

As a new comer to SR  I see many sellers have a "5 transactions or $300" policy.
But how can they tell when you are "kosher"?
I have searched the forums but couldn't find anything about this.

When you place an order with a vendor your purchasing stats become available to them. These are the exact same as the purchasing stats you can access from your SR Account.
