Soliciting investment on an illegal forum... you got balls at least.
Mining seems like a waste of time these days, barely worth the electricity and effort involved.
I have massive respect for those that do it, but I can put my coins to more profitable use I think.

AAnd as the BTC network grows, mining for coins becomes counter-productive. But best of luck to you.

There's nothing illegal about visiting the forums, or Silk Road itself.   :)
Best of luck Bitcoinmining!

Also, daRwin, props for providing good green to Irish users. I'm in Ireland myself, though I'm a bulk buyer so I don't think I'll be getting the chance to do business with you anytime soon. Stay safe though man!  :)

Yeah, it's not illegal, but you have to admit it is ballsy.
What I have to wonder though is how far down the list of potential investors for a mining operation do you have to go before you get to drug smugglers who hang out in a shady underground marketplace? Surely there are better places to seek investment. Then again, I suppose TSR probably is one of the major economic hubs of the bitcoin economy! Heh.

It's always good to see yet another Irish person on here. Ya, I'm not really offering bulk at the moment because the prices would be ridiculous compared to some international vendors. I'm buying in Ireland so have to charge Irish prices unfortunately. I doing my best to find a good source of stock that I could sell in bulk to the Irish market, but it's no easy task as I'm sure you well know.

The way I would look at it is that one person's Bitcoin is as good as any others, be they drug smugglers, drug users, speculators, or coin exchangers.  :) A tenet of increasing your business is maximising your customer base, and given the large amount of users here, all of whom use Bitcoin, it is a rather shrewd move on Bitcoinmining's part.  :)

Yeah I know how hard it can be to find good quality at a good price here, I did the real-life thing for a couple of years. Even buying 4 kilos at a time it was hard to get prices lower than €5 a gram, and even when I did manage to get that, the quality was far from what it should have been. That's one of the reasons I turned to SR, so as I could provide the Irish market with high quality product at much lower prices. I'm sick of people being financially raped when they're buying dried plants!  :o
Best of luck though, just make sure you keep yourself safe!!  :) If there's anything I might be able to help you out with, don't hesitate to get in touch.  :)

(Apologies Bitcoinmining for derailing your thread! Will take any further conversation to PM!)

Its hard to sell someone on investing in a "digital good" that is really not know by the masses yet. This makes it hard to find investors in it. Hell it hard enough to get investments in a real solid business ideas these days let alone something that no one really knows about yet.

The increasing difficulty in Bitcoin minning is evident, here shortly it will be taken over by big business just like everything else...... there is the open door right there get the equipment in place foot and door and start running before it locks all the small guys out and its impossible to get in kinda like the dot com boom of the 90s.

Its like asking a pig farmer to invest in airplanes he don't know jack about them and the chances are he probally wont invest. So you go to the source of where people actually know the value of the bitcoin and they can see potential profits.

The actual electric cost were I live is not that high im in the lower 1/8th of USA in prices so its not to bad its about .08 during peak and .07 during off peak.

As for drug money.... it all spends half of the rich people in this country right now wealth can be traced to illegal activities from the roaring 20s.... think about that. It all spends the same to me Profit is profit

No problem grahamgreene Im glad there is a true free market out there we can all use

Common Questions and Answers

Q. Why should I wait for the equipment delivery when I can get hashing now? Why should I wait for returns?
Answer: Because you are actually buying the equipment with others. You have a right to 100% of the equipment's sale if it is voted to be sold if and when people want to stop the operation. You get lower administrative fees and better advantages that way for waiting some time and pre-funding your own equipment instead of buying a fraction of a current mining operation.
Q. Why 35% reinvested?
Because under that model, we would get more and more shares for simply replacing the equipment, basically keeping the same hashing power for a growing amount of share while still having to sell as many shares at the same price for each replacement. Shares dilution would occur and the operation would die out since people don't pay for the replacement of the equipment power associated to their shares. Getting new shares sales to pay for the replacement of the hashing of your old shares would not be right. Equipment needs to be replaced and extra equipment added for the shares to gain value and the operation to grow. You also need growing hashing power to compete with increasing difficulty.
Q. It looks interesting, but I am afraid others won't buy or like it. What if shares don't sell fast enough and my funds are withheld for a long period until we can purchase equipment?
Answer: There's a maximum period for the IPO of 2 months OCT 15th don't think people should scuttlebutt interfere with how they place their money. If the goal amount is not reached then we will vote on what to do next to refund or invest the money.
Q. What will the bitcoins be doing while we are waiting for enough to purchase our equipment.
Answer: It will be put to vote in the monthly meetings, to invest let it sit or what to do with it.
