I posting to let people that I was scammed by Wumg00 via WU. I contacted him last week in about the listing he had selling BTC. I wanted to order from him anyway so I thought this would be the easiest way to go. So I emailed him and he told me that he already had them sold but said he would just send me what I wanted upon receiving the WU. Now I know It was stupid of me to send the guy a WU in the first place but he is ranked 22 out of 290 vendors and I couldn't any negative feedback about him so i figured I give it a shot. Needless to say he picked up the WU and pulled a fucking Hudini. I don't know if he visits this forum or not but if he does I would LOVE to see what he has to say about this!

Did you even give him a chance to respond to you? Did you even bother to read the thread where SR managed to lose over a 100 bitcoins of his due to a server fault? I think you've unfurled your Jump to Conclusions mat a little too soon and you may need to issue an apology. The reality is that WUMG00 is a highly regarded seller, and you're just a guy. Sometimes things take time but you definitely don't want to lose your cool and start making accusations. That doesn't do anyone any good.

the WU was for 138USD (not including fees). And yes I gave him plenty of time to respond to me. This happened last week. Since he picked up the WU he has not responded to me what so ever. I even emailed him under a different adress and he replied IMEADIATLY. And If he is such a trusted seller than why is he encouraging people to do business via WU and not SR? And yes... I am just some guy but this did happen and i'm not happy about. So if he would care to respond I am all ears.

It sounds like you are quick to jump to conclusions. Wumg00 is one of the better vendors on this site and constantly works hard to take care of people. Screaming scammer over 138USD and less than a week and not even waiting for at least a response is a little pre-mature. Lets at least wait until wumg00 has a chance to respond. As big green stated there have been some issues with SR causing people to lose bitcoins to which wumg00 was a victim which has definetly (and it should be quite obvious to you) put a wrench in his works. I'm very sure that whatever the issue is he is working on it and will get back to you. People on this site are far to quick to scream scammer sometimes you need to realize that this isn't amazon.com or something and for each order there is a lot of manual steps involved especially if you are one person so exercise some patience and lets see what wumg00 says.

I understand what your saying but I don't think it's to much to ask for him to send me an email over the period of five days. I wasn't rude with him in ANY of my emails so there should be NO reason for him not to reply. So again......If he would like to respond I am all ears.

Yeh, I have to agree with the folks above, wumg00 has been a stand up guy and has always come thru for people.. sometimes I dont have the time to respond to my PM's cause I have to choose between getting my orders out and answering PM's... I could always just choose to write a bunch of "Im working on it" PM's and get nothing actually done but sometimes its just better to let the PM's sit and actually get peoples things out to them. I know it can be frustrating but I do believe wumg00 will come thru for you, just give him a bit of leeway to get back to you!

I am going to have to agree with the rest of the members here, I simply cannot see wumg00 doing something like this.
He is rated 22 out of 290 for a reason. He has great product, provides great service and generally communications clearly and promptly with his buyers.
You however have only 4 posts and provide very little detail. I could just as easily call you names and accuse you of things you would deny.
Too many users simply jump on the boards and post angry messages calling such and such seller a scam artist without bothering to take the time to do things properly. It's kind of hard to take back an accusation once you have made it. You can say you are sorry, it was a misunderstanding and make nice after the fact, but the post lives on. For the next week or so members looking for unread posts are going to see 'SCAMMED BY WUMG00' because you didn't have the patience to wait a few days for the seller to contact you.
The proper course of action, if you haven't heard back from the seller for AT LEAST 4-7 days would be to post a message asking if anybody has talked to the seller, indicate you have a transaction you are waiting resolution on, and see if that doesn't get you a response.
You don't start with a cannon before you have given diplomacy a chance to work. Escalate when required, not right out of the starting gate.
Now, if you want anybody to take you seriously, you better provide a more detailed description of your problem then you talked with him last week, sent a PM, but haven't heard back.
What day did you do you transfer. Do you know what day it was picked up? When did you last PM him? Did he promise he would get back to you any specific day? Is 'illmeanz' the id you used to order with?
I just don't see wumg00 bothering to scam someone for $138usd. It would be a waste of his time and reputation.
I am positive that whatever the problem is, wumg00 will look after it. Don't forget 99% of the sellers also have a real life, real jobs that need their attention just as much, if not more, than SR. They cannot always just stop what they are doing to respond to everybody's message the minute they get them.

I hope that I am wrong. But when I sent him emails under a different address and he responded right away....It's hard to believe that it's not a scam. I don't expect for him to respond in five minutes but five days is a little different. I too work a day job so I completley understand that people are busy. I truly appreciate all the feedback and again I really do hope I'm wrong but you have to understand how this looks from my prospective.

I sent on 02/01/2012 it was picked up on02/02/2012. illmeanz is the ID I used along with the email address and yes I was told I would hear from him on 02/02/2012. So again please try to understand where I am coming from.

I was supposed to buy 65 coins from Wumg00 via W.U. yesterday, but am still waiting on the money to come in to send him - he gave me a rate and provided me with his details for the transfer, so I presume he would have had the necessary coin available for me.
I have no reason to lack confidence in him; he's been a good communicator, responded promptly to my messages (2 messages in the past 36 hours which does make me wonder why he hasn't responded to yours) **the reason for this was because the OP didn't contact him through SR, only email, whereas I contacted him through SR and not through email**, and has an excellent vendor rating, but I'm going to wait until this issue is resolved to make a transfer with him, or at least wait until we hear his side of the story on here.

EDIT: Just to clarify here, I haven't actually placed my order yet so I'm not currently waiting on anything from wumg00.

I had no reason not to trust him either and believe me, I too would like to hear what he has to say. i'm not telling anyone not to order, if you think you can trust him be my guest. I'm just telling people what has happened to me. If I hear from him I will let everyone know.

I'm posting this as a favor to Wumg00, who is unable to log into the forum but wanted to respond to this thread as soon as possible. He also wanted to let everyone know that although he can't get onto the forum, he is available on SR and via email. Here is his message:

I never said that I contacted him through SR message. The whole time we spoke it was strictly through email. like I said before, He responded to all of my emails until the WU was picked up then all of a sudden nothing! I even contacted him through email under a different address to see if he would respond and he did, so i know he was getting his emails. As far as lying.....I haven't lied about anything. perhaps if he had communicated with a little better after picking up my $ I wouldnt have been so leary about this whole issue. when you tell me that you will be in touch with me on a certain day I expect you to make good on that. I did my part, all you had to do was shoot me an email like you said you would and none of this would have happened. I'm not gonna send you emails every ten minutes wondering where my shit is. i sent you enough emails to where you should have responded. Im not happy about how this all went down and I didn't set out to make anyone look bad but when you won't answer my emails i'm going to expect the worst.

I am not taking sides, because I obviously dont know any of the background circumstances behind this dispute, but I also trust Wumg and he has been very helpful with great communication (even after getting my money) and only seeks respect from his customers and he will return the consideration.
Personally, it seems to me like as many vendors wumg is likely inundated with orders and other responsibilities. Along with the sale this weekend, it seems that wumg may have just gotten distracted and may actually believe you are another customer, which has occurred on the road before certainly. The response wumg is providing does not seem to be appropriate to a WU to BTC transaction... given he is referring to shipping an order of his product. Hopefully you can provide him your transaction information and he can check his records, so that this situation may be resolved.

I have finally been able to get in touch with wumg00 and we have been able to work out this issue reasonably. It was simply an issue of miscommunication on MY part. I sincerely apologize to him and to the forum for being hotheaded and calling him out.

FINALLY GOT TO SPEAK WITH ILLMEANZ AND IT WAS BIG MISUNDERSTANDING AND EVERYTHING IS GOOD NOW, JUST ANOTHER CASE OF A LIL SCAMMER PARANOIA/PATIENCE LACKING. ANYWAYS, HIM AND I ARE ALL GOOD NOW AND BACK TO BIZ AS USUAL AND HE WILL GET WHAT HE PAID FOR (JUST LIKE HE WAS ANYWAYS) HE HAS PROMISED ME THAT THIS THREAD WILL BE RENAMED BUT LEFT UP AS A LESSON ON NOT JUMPING THE GUN AND WILL MAKE AN APOLOGY, WHICH I THINK IS VERY COOL OF HIM TO DO
IN THE END, WE ARE ALL FRIENDS AND WE ALL WANT THE SAME THINGS BUT, PEOPLE, PLZ, LETS LEARN A LIL MORE PATEINCE AND SO MANY OF THESE PROBS WOULD BE AVOIDED!

I was going to say that I am pretty paranoid buyer on here because I have been scammed a couple of times, not anything big, but WUMG00 Is by far the MOST trustworthy seller on here in my opinion! I told myself I would NEVER send someone money, but Wumg00 helped me get over my fears of being scammed and with a little faith in him he became my new best friend! haha I love you Wumg00! and as long as you keep getting the most incredible dope on Silk Road Ill gladly keep buying it from you! :)
I know the dispute thing was already over but I still think everyone who knows Wumg00 should show their love for him! :D and this should turn into Wumg00's Best Client's post! xD
