My hope is that they'll do the same for someone else down the line, and we can develop more of a culture of trust here on SR. I mean it's hard enough having trust in people in a black market system, and even harder in an anonymous black market system with no real form of retribution / discipline for scamming behaviour, (and yes there will always be the few that'll play people - it's ultimately their own loss) but if we can trust that our fellow Silk Roaders will help us out and not just take advantage of us then we're demonstrating that a black market like this actually contains more humanity and more trust than a large amount of 'legitimate' businesses, groups and societies have for each other. At least then, even if our whole Silk Road world comes crumbling down around us, the world may eventually realise that we're not the boogie men that are out to eat everyone's babies; we are, in fact, a trusting and trustworthy community that prides itself on honesty, integrity, and freedom of choice. We - all of us here and now - are what every group and every society aspires to be, but with their lack of anonymity and pressure of social compliance simply cannot achieve. We represent a free society, outside the rules and regulations of the various governments and morally reprehensible individuals that wish to restrict our natural right as free humans to live our lives as we see fit. Every man is born free. Every woman is born free. Every child is born free. And I'll be damned if I'm going to let my children and my children's children grow up in a moral dictatorship where their every action is scrutinised and deemed legal or illegal.I've never been an anarchist, or a rebel, or one to fight the system. In fact, I'm a hardcore capitalist, and thrive on the feeling of making a lot of money / having a lot of spending power. But I, like many of you, am conditioned to be that way as a result of the capitalist system I was brought up in. However, there comes a time when enough is enough. When the system that we utilise and structure our lives around begins to utilise us as a resource. When we've become nothing more than the cattle that feeds the incessant appetite of the capitalist and fiat-based monster of our own creation. When we realise that the only reason we value our freedom is because we are being left with less and less of it. And the time for change is now. We have the opportunity to change things, to really and truly effect a change in the psyche of humanity, one small Bitcoin at a time.tl;dr:Help a brother out when he needs it!- grahamgreene(Apologies for getting waaaaaaaay off topic!! :-X )
