In a couple of months the forum should host a Silk Road Awards. I will start the thread on an agreed future date.
Perhaps a thread for each award category including a poll where buyers place their votes.
Have not thought out all the particulars as the idea came to me as I devouring benzos and dabbing honey oil.
With that being said I have thought of a few categories off the top of my head.
Obviously nothing is set in stone but just wanted to get the ball rolling.
Here are my proposed awards:
Best Packaging
Best Customer Service
Most Innovative Product
Best Ecstasy, MDMA, Vendor
Best LSD Vendor
Best (for every other drug category)
Best Bang for Your Buck
Most Diverse Selection of Product
Rookie of the Year
Vendor of the Year
Please submit your ideas for new categories.
Please submit your ideas for the award the vendor would receive. Perhaps, simply an honor system in which you pledge to donate 1BTC?
This is a great way to give back to the vendors and let them know we appreciate the hard work and risk of freedom to provide us with such quality products.
Also, if we got some new categories I think this could be really fun as well as informative as the debate over who is the best can finally be put to rest.
Obviously voter fraud would run rampant and thus perhaps there should be a restriction of a certain number of posts to cast a vote. 50?

I like it. I think the inevitable business from every new member to the forums trying to find the best vendor would be a nice prize ;D

With the exception of the packaging award...we wouldn't want to disclose any info regarding packaging, for safety purposes...I think this is a fantastic idea.
How about a Best Buyer award, for most purchases in a year. And maybe a Big Spender award for the non-vendor with the highest BTC amount spent in a year. Those two buyers get a prize from SR!

Yea it's a cool idea. There are some complication when it comes to breaking it down to international and domestic. I wouldn't expect SR to separate these and have so many different contest but I would expect them to lump them all together for one reward. Maybe the people in each country can do a domestic reward for their vendors but that would require some kind of fundraising throughout the year for each country.
A reward for packaging would be a little tricky. What is needed for this is a committee if you will. A group of trusted members that can talk in private about the packaging and make a list of best to worst in the packaging category
This is a great idea to promote vendors as well. Being a buyer of course I support the idea of having buyer rewards. Lets not leave out the incredible SR staff and moderators who do an amazing job keeping everything up to date and working fantastic. There should be rewards for them as well but honestly does this not undermine the whole "laying low" concept?

I like this idea!!
Plus, there should be awards for best domestic vendor, for certain countries where its applicable.

As a suggestion can we maybe put an award for the biggest current and active Cunt vendor title? I have one in mind but the jury is still out. ;)

Oh you know me Lim, although you can only keep a pressure cooker going for so long.
On topic perhaps DPR would like SR to sponsor the event, and vendors can pay to advertise or sponsor an award. Add this to the 1 btc from buyers and we can have really good award prizes?

Sounds awesome to me! Only thing that worries me is if LEO needed any more info on a vendor they will be able to look at the awards and speculate their own info and or add to what they already know. just a random thought.

Sounds awesome to me! Only thing that worries me is if LEO needed any more info on a vendor they will be able to look at the awards and speculate their own info and or add to what they already know. just a random thought.

If we are all on SR why not LE or DEA
So obviously LE or DEA have already opened buyer SR account.
They are not idiots
Obviously they have already bought trough SR system
Obviously they already chat on the forum
So if they need evidences I think they already have enough
And they still go on collecting evidences everyday
Also as a buyer you can see which seller have more than 300 transactions...etc
So I don't think those awards would help
