Trust for no longer than an hour after I post this at the very most, only open in an isolated VM or even better, a PC/laptop which will never be connected to the internet and put it on that computer with a USB pen or something so it has an air gap. This is the last one I had before SR started taking images and had access plus they may have access to my new server and I will not under any circumstances trust that anymore to run the risk of distributing infected files.
Last trusted backup: https://anonfiles.com/file/6b1af107c71884fc3de0b5173cca8fd6
Checksums:
MD5: ab14211c40e7a078436f1b6c6c46c9f5
This is my backup as 21st June 2013, the last one taken before we migrated to the new server. I am treating this server as compromised as LE could theoretically have taken it over and compromised data or files so I will not run the risk of distributing infected files.
StExo
NB - Looks like my previous file has errors and a bad host, the above has now fixed this problem.

Only a handful of people on these forums know about you StExo.
TRUST THIS GUY PEOPLE.
-
Are you trying to say this is a backup of the sites code?
-
The checksums do not match.
-
Thank you for everything your doing stexo
Your help is greatly appreciated!
-
It is a gz file, not an .exe you probably clicked on the advert
-
File has been updated and corrected above due to some checksum issues and corrupted file on host.

Thank you, Sir/Madame.
-
No, the previous file was not compromised, it was simply a balls-up of the hashsum and I corrupted the file type a little. Nothing to worry about.
-
Not if you did it through tor. Even if you didn't you're one of a hundred or so downloaders.
Don't tell me if it was tor or not - and just delete your post for good measure.
-
Thank you, StExo! :) Ray of sunshine to an otherwise dreary day.
Brings back memories. That was back when I was a super young vendor!
-
The PGP message confirms to 1E9F0829 by the way. For the repost to https://anonfiles.com/file/6b1af107c71884fc3de0b5173cca8fd6.
You should confirm yourself though.
Thanks StExo.

could someone please ELI5 what St Exo is referring to?
thanks m

The backups are good, there is no threats in the gz.
I have most of them open on my sandbox machine.
Pretty old. 4 or 5 months old I think, but really good starting blocks for rebuilding

StExo, thank you.
You primed the fucking cannon. The silk road was only a flintlock.
-
So what happens to vendors/orders newer than that?
-
Is my new e-mail address on my posts included in that back- up (italianmafiabrussels@secure-mail.biz) noted in there?
Or still the hushmail one? I don't use the hushmail one anymore, so please edit it if it's not right ! Or make a more recent copy of *now*
-
StExo, thank you.

Well said.

If anyone wants to have their contact details saved, I am making a new topic on discussion now. Post them there, I will keep it going for as long as I draw breath.
-
I dont understand...
-
Is this just screen shots of vendor pages for contact info?
-
I saved their pages in .html format. I have more recent versions but they were on the server which possibly could be compromised so I don't want to distribute them as I can't be 100% sure they are safe. The above version was taken from inside a VM we had and before LE took control of LE servers and started making images of it so I am pretty certain it is safe.

Hey StExo, I read somewhere that the reason there are so few hippie communes anymore, is because after a period of time, fewer and fewer members contributed to the collective work, as a day of missing chores would easily be made up, leading to a week of missing chores which had to be made up, and so on. Eventually, the community-contributing hippies would often number no greater than 1 per commune.
You're the only one of us who took every precaution.
And you're not even demanding payment for the security you saved for us.

And I never will demand it. If they take me down, somebody else will just step up.

I dont understand...
I'm with Gridlokk on this
-
Thankz Stexo, I really needed this backup. Will bring back memories and more.
-
I am a little confused as well. How are we supposed to get back in touch with vendors using this information? Out of the couple files I looked at, Most of these guys don't have an alternative contact method listed, and if they do, its a tormail address, which we now know is obsolete.
-
PGP keys, what kind of goods they have listed. I can take it down if you so wish :P
Cross reference it with other information and it will help you establish a vendor are who they say they are ,plus historical records.
-
So what exactly is this? Sorry for my newbness
-
ah I see, thank you. I hope my last post didnt come off as ungrateful. Thank you so much for this contribution. At least we are not completely in the dark anymore when we eventually migrate to a new site
-
What's the sum "ab14211c40e7a078436f1b6c6c46c9f5" for? I'm getting "6b1af107c71884fc3de0b5173cca8fd6", which would seem to make sense given the link...

So these files are safe to download and have on a computer?
Small time buyer inquiring, probably no need to worry but just the healthy paranoia pushing past my instincts.
-
Shit. Just saw this. So....it's no longer safe to access this and save? Considering you said don't an hour at the most after you post this information.
Regardless....stexo, you're awesome. I've never said anything but I've always been blown away by you.
-
Hey everyone, I would love to be able to jump in on this convo.. But just like 2 other ppl that posted... Im lost..
What exactly are you guys doing in order to stay connected? Well not now considering your site? is down?
-
I'm relative new in your community, but I have to say: since I find the SR a dream came true for me. And I'm not a young dude; I'm nearly 50 years old and have a lot experience in this world.
THANK YOU ADMINS AND EVERYONE WHO HELPED TO START SR AND KEEP IT GOING!!!!!
AND ESPECIALLY stExo for risking a lot!!!!!!
See ya on other sides
.. and fuck the DEA, fuck the FBI, fuck 'em all!!!!!
We don't harm anyone but (perhaps) ourselves. So let us live as we want to!

still safe the download?

Download still appears fine! This should be used in conjunction with the download available in the sticky topic I made in this board which will contain contact information.
-
thanks Stexo

nice hand,sir!

great initiative, thx. and I had just started my vendor account about a month before this, so I'm in! You will know the real ihav1hitr when you see me around the darkweb, I'll post my public key where appropriate
but I think the BEST thing to do with all these public keys would to create about a dozen new anon markets, with a standardized/interchangeable product uploading process, that all start from vetted SR vendors from this backup.
As I see it...and this already seems to be going on at that SR 'backup' site which I admittedly don't know a whole lot about, and to some extent over at the other extant anon markets too on their boards...wouldn't it be possible for new exchanges to 'recognize' purported existing vendors by sending them verification codes encrypted with their public keys from SR? And isn't having an ample selection of goods the thing that new markets need to attract traffic?
Is there something I'm missing here?
As far as the threat of LE setting up such anon exchanges...well, that just sounds like Obamacare 2.0 to me! We should all just be operating under that assumption anyways, so just CYA and let's rebuild.
