A poster has stated in another thread that this url for the forums had a the seizure image early this morning. Now the forums are back up.

Agreed - it is a strong possibility.
Assume they are - do not be tempted to use the PM function to send sensitive info such as backup contact details unless they are PGP encrypted. No phone numbers or clearnet mail addresses unless they cannot possibly be linked to you and you access them only over TOR.
if the feds want to run the forums then let them - just don't become a victim.
ENSURE JAVASCRIPT IS DISABLED IN YOUR BROWSER IF IT ISN'T ALREADY!! ENSURE YOUR BROWSER IS PATCHED OR BANG UP TO DATE.

seems to me it would be in the feds best interest to leave us in the dark so i dont see why they would bring them back up

I would think if they were going to use a site as a honey pot, it'd be the main SR site rather than the forums; but anything's possible I guess

It may have been a cached page. Never know how one uses their browser.

Don't rule out the possibility that SR was the honey pot for some time though.... It's quite possible.
Be also advisable anyone who wasn't doing their business through PGP to take extra caution and keep a clean house and whatever else for some time.
