Is it best to make a new key only for dealing with vendors or is there no risk of some random person having my public key? Also, should i store all software related to my keys and keyring on a usb memory stick and not keep in in the same house as the computer I purchase off?Probably worrying about nothing but just wanna be fully sure. Thanks guys.In theory, it shouldn't matter who has your public key as it is only used to send you a private encrypted message. But if you blast it all over the internet (eg; facebook, etc), LEO could cross-reference what they see here and there and make a connection to your identity. Doesn't mean they can decrypt your messages though. You can make as many keys as you want, so unless you're a vendor who needs their public key to remain consistent, it's probably a better idea to make a new public each time you wish to correspond. Also it's a very good idea to delete other's public keys from your keychain once the correspondence has finished.Example: I deleted your public key last night after we exchanged messages. I can always get your current public key from you again later if we need to speak in private.Perfecto.... But you say unless vending that it's probably best to make new ones. Why do you advise this?I for sure would not be putting it on Facebook :D I wouldn't even dare open a regular browser while i'm using this one for fear of any trace of my normal web activity leading back to my Tor activity and matching me to anything.I probably won't even try a purchase for another few weeks until i'm fully sure i'm as safe as possible. You recommend any good bitcoin tutorial posts? That is my assignment for today, learn that whole process :)
