Okay so who's done it? I know someone on here has done this for real, and I want to hear about it - the more detail the better! :D

I'm interested as well. I want to read a trip report on a heroic acid dose (eg milligrams at once) but I can't seem to find any.

1.6mg is 16 100ug hits. Definitely a high dose, but not quite a thumbprint.

honestly i dont get much out of acid if i do less then 5.
a thumbprint would be EPIC though.
these days its a rarity to know someone who has done that much or who is willing to do that much.
I know a buddy who drank a whole vial of it. said it was like a DMT trip for 8 hours lol

anyone that says that they have done thumbprints of raw crystal is bullshit. im from SF and the whole gdf thumb print is a lie. just dicksizing. a thumb print of raw would kill anyone. I have eaten raw but only a spec. thumbprint of liquid is different though.

my mate new a couple of brothers that both did kung fu and lots of acid....the older one though he was a demon....anyway....one night him and his brother both had a trip each every hour until they reached 10...at that point the older brother declared "I AM A GOD (in satan's voice) BRING ME A COCONUT!" so....the younger brother and the other guys with them had to go find a coconut at 2am to appease this god or he would have fucked them all up

I do not think you would die. This would go against the LD50 of LSD-25. Unless you ate a substantial amount of LSD raw. A thumbprint will surely not physiologically kill you. It could be possible the mental stress can.... i guess.

you don't die from "thumbprinting". You do, however, get permanent HPPD. For the rest of your life.
Also, from what I've read, in LARGE doses, chances of "bad trips" decrease, and are totally absent in the +10mg range. Seems logical, when your ego is gone, fear is also gone.
I would consider doing this when dying or so. Like Huxley.

Most I have taken is 1mg. I also question the validity of thumbprints. I know people who have moved crystal for GDF. They didn't have to take thumbprints. I know people who move crystal for european families, they didn't have to take thumbprints. LD-50 for LSD is listed on erowid as 12 mg and even less conservative estimates don't put it very high, relative to how much powder could fit on your thumb. I seriously think if you take a thumbprint you are risking death, and I think it is largely just folk tales. Maybe some crazy fucks have taken thumb prints but then again people do all kinds of dangerous pointless things with drugs.
The most LSD anyone I know has personally taken at a single time is 15mg, and imo even that is pushing your luck as it is 3mg higher than the LD-50 listed by Erowid (although significantly below LD-50s I have seen from other places, although to be fair even the higher estimated LD-50's I have seen tend to be fairly low, relatively).
I would love to see where the people on SR I see quoting LD-50's of 30 something MG per KG are getting their information from.....straight out of their assholes imo

You realize that LD-50 is based on mg of lsd per Kg of body weight, right? that means using erowid's (more conservative) estimate of 12mg/kg it would take roughly 900mg, or slightly less than 1g, to kill your average 150lb person. Good luck trying to fit one gram on on a thumbprint

Big doses don't matter. All in your mind. EVERYTHING IS IN YOUR MIND. This material world is fake. 250mic is enough to get to "DMT" land for a couple hours. Buteverything is DMT soooooo why are we taking drugs again??!
